Edits on Jharkhand CM list[edit]

You added some citations in List of chief ministers of Jharkhand. You should read WP:OVERLILL, a page on overabundance of citations. Citations are generally not needed in the lead when the information is already verified in the body. For example, only the date of creation of Jharkhand and the fact that only a few independents ever became CM were unverified in the body and needed separate citations. Other citations are not needed in the body. Also, the first paragraph is already cited to a very good book by a very famous constitutional expert. An ICSE textbook citation is simply not needed. So, I'll amend your edits to a previous version. But your edits are still appreciated and I'm happy you wanted to improve the encyclopedia. TryKid (talk) 12:20, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed you have removed the required citations too. It would have been better if you keep the needed ones like: [1] [2] etc Because if we say some statement like: was the first chief minister to complete a full term in the state. etc Then that definitely needs a citation. Also it seems you didn't pay attention that the incumbent CM is Hemant Soren and not Raghuvar Das. I see that you have replaced 29 December 2019 with 28 December 2014 [3] I request you to properly go through your edits. SmitaVarma (talk) 12:33, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the corrections! I didn't pay attention to my edits and messed up. Also, I wanted to link to WP:Citation overkill. I apologize for my mistake again. :(. I'll go through the page again. TryKid (talk) 13:29, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Not an issue. Thanks for acknowledging. SmitaVarma (talk) 13:30, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

My view is that both the statements — that Munda is the longest serving and Das is the first one to complete a term, can be seen in the table and are automatically verified. But I will not object if you add it again. You can go ahead and add it. TryKid (talk) 13:33, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Instead of simple labeling something as propaganda, take some effort to do Google Search or instead read references given in this article itself. Which definitely suggests that this is a notable event SmitaVarma (talk) 05:05, 25 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you use Wikipedia for promotion or advertising, as you did at Tulsi Pujan Diwas. —SpacemanSpiff 05:11, 25 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Give some logical reason before terming something as promotional. Go through the news references in the article, which are unbiased. SmitaVarma (talk) 13:05, 25 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You are promoting a rapist and misusing sources to do so. The sentence "The festival was started by Asaram Bapu" is followed by sources who don't mention him. If you continue I can simply block you entirely or block you from the article/talk page. Doug Weller talk 13:16, 27 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
