For the first time, this month we are trying out our Monthly achievement initiative

  • All creators of new biographies can keep track of their progress and earn virtual awards.
  • It can be used in conjunction with the above editathons or for any women's biography created in August.
  • Try it out when you create your first biography of the month.

Hi there, Smirkybec. I see you have already created two interesting biographies since the beginning of the month: May Guinness and Elizabeth Mernin. I've taken the liberty of adding them to our Monthly achievement initiative. I hope that's OK with you. It seems to me that they might well inspire other editors to write biographies of women. It would be great if you could continue to participate until the end of August. I see you have created about 20 new biographies over the past month.
