Proposal for the Creation of an Animation Barnstar[edit]
Hi, Silentaria. I noticed that you are a member of the Animation WikiProject and wanted to share a proposal with you. There have been several times that I have wanted to award an Animation Barnstar to a fellow editor, only to be disappointed that one still doesn't exist. The closest thing that we have right now is the Film Barnstar, but this is only applicable in certain situations, since animation can be found in both film and television. I would like to see an Animation Barnstar become a reality; especially since one already exists for the sub-topic of Anime and Manga. In order for this to become official though, a consensus will have to be reached.
If this is something that you would be interested in supporting, then please let me know on my talk page, as I am sending this message to all of the members of the Animation WikiProject and will not be adding each editor's talk page to my watchlist.

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Raistlin.png[edit]
Thank you for uploading File:Raistlin.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Non-free album cover art is generally allowed to be used for primary identification purposes in stand-alone articles about albums, but its use in other articles is generally only allowed when the cover art itself is the subject of sourced critical commentary as explained in WP:NFC#cite_note-3 and the context for non-free use required by WP:NFCC#8 is evident. There is no such commentary for this particular album cover anywhere in the article, and the use of soundtrack album cover art in articles about films or TV programs is generally not allowed for this reason as explained in WP:FILMSCORE.

There is no such commentary for this particular album cover anywhere in the article; so, omitting it wouldn't be detrimental to the reader's understanding in anyway. Moreover, non-free files are not really allowed to be used to illustrate indovidial entries of list articles per WP:NFLISTS.

Non-free video game box cover art being used in a decorative manner in Flame of Recca#Video games. This would probably acceptable if it was used as the primary means of identification at the top of or in the main infobox of a stand-alone article about the particular video game itself, but non-free images aren't really allowed to be used to illustrate subsections of article unless the image itself is the subject of some sourced critical commentary which directly discusses it or otherwise requires that the reader see the non-free image to understand the relevant content. There's nothing in the video games section which requires that this image be seen to be understood; so the context for non-free use required by WP:NFCC#8 and WP:NFC#cite_note-3 is not being provided.

In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards.
