Welcome![edit]

Hello, Sikh history nerd, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to The Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need personal help ask me on my talk page, or ask a question on your talk page. Again, welcome.  -- dsprc [talk] 00:06, 15 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

September 2023[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 18:33, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've dropped a welcome template above that may provide you with additional information. In particular, please review the introduction tutorial, and Referencing for beginners help pages. You could also try the interactive beginners tutorial at: WP:ADVENTURE.
If you still require further guidance after pursuing these self-help options: you can {{ping}} me here, or reach out on my talk page and I'll try my best to assist; use {{Help me}} here; or engage with the ever helpful volunteers at Wikipedia:Teahouse. -- dsprc [talk] 00:19, 15 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Sikh history nerd! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. -- dsprc [talk] 22:44, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
