Disambiguation link notification for June 23[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Kiteretsu Daihyakka, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Momo (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Nintama Rantarō move[edit]

I saw you moved the page Nintama Rantarō to Ninjaboy Rantaro and List of Nintama Rantarō episodes to List of Ninjaboy Rantaro episodes without discussing them. Per WP:COMMONNAME, Wikipedia uses the most commonly-used name, not necessarily the official English one, and I don't think the name Ninjaboy Rantaro has really caught on in English enough to become the most commonly accepted name. They've both been moved back now, the show's page by User:Xezbeth, the episode list by me. Raymond1922 (talk) 00:40, 30 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You recently moved Hanbun, Aoi to an English translation of the title (Half Blue Sky) without discussing the move at the talk page. This move is inconsistent with WP:COMMONNAME, as well as the pattern of titling for other NHK asadora articles on Wikipedia. As the English translated name has not caught on as the common name, I have moved the page back to its original title. If you would like to propose moving the page again, please do so on the Hanbun, Aoi article talk page, following Wikipedia guidelines, as retitling a popular television show is not an uncontroversial action. Infobox fields and English titles[edit]

I noticed that you have been adding English titles to Japanese TV series articles (e.g. Asa ga Kita, Hanako to Anne, etc) based on syndication marketing materials. You seem to be using unorthodox formatting to make your preferred English title show up first using a <br>-separated line in the show_name field, without even looking at the existing article contents. In Asa ga Kita, for example, the information you added already existed in the infobox in the show_name_2 field. Why are you not using the show_name_2 field for English show names? Otoko wa Tsurai Yo[edit]

Hi! Thanks for your edits and interest in Wikipedia. I revered back your title changes to It's Tough Being a Man. Tora-san Our Lovable Tramp is used in a few recent official releases, but generally the series and the first movie is known as It's Tough Being a Man. I can collect sources if need be.

I also, I saw you changed Welcome Back Tora-san to Tora-san, Welcome Back. There is actually no official English title yet, so maybe it should just stay in Japanese, but I was just curious why you did so as you did not leave an edit summary? XinJeisan (talk) 00:53, 23 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You recently moved Kinpachi-sensei to an English translation of the title without discussing the move at the talk page. This move is inconsistent with WP:COMMONNAME. The target name you selected is only mentioned once on a TBS syndication website, and does not displace the Japanese name that is so common that it is noted throughout the actual article as a well-known reference in Japanese culture. If you would like to propose moving the page again, please do so on the article talk page, following Wikipedia guidelines, as this move is not uncontroversial.
