Speedy deletion declined: Parivesh[edit]

Hello SeytX, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Parivesh, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: coverage in reliable sources is a sufficient indicator of significance; also, one cannot rule out that the now dead links you removed contained more coverage. If you are interested in learning more about how speedy deletion works, I have compiled a list of helpful pages at User:SoWhy/SDA. You can of course also contact me if you have questions. Thank you. SoWhy 09:53, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Also, per WP:KDL, do not remove dead links from articles, instead, add the {{dead link|date=<Month> <Year>}} template to the reference to alert others. See more guidance at WP:Link rot. Regards SoWhy 09:57, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Admin Thanks for the response but the dead link which you have reverted to the page are useless. Please mention them as a dead links. SeytX (talk)

AFD[edit]

Hi, can you please reduce the number of AFDs you are nominating as many of them are notable and it is causing a big workload for editors to check them for sources. Before nominating for AFD a careful search for extra sources is needed as per WP:BEFORE. I see that you have had some of your own articles deleted and am sorry about that, perhaps you could try creating articles at WP:AFC where you might have more success, and please reduce the AFDs, thanks Atlantic306 (talk) 12:59, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed this as well. SeytX, it is obvious that you found many sub-standard articles on Nepalese performers, but an article's quality is not necessarily a reason for deletion. Instead, an article may have been created by someone without much Wikipedia experience, and they (and others) could be encouraged to improve the article. As said by Atlantic306 above, make sure to follow the policies at WP:BEFORE during this process. Also, in several of your AfD's you recommended deletion because an article has no sources, but see WP:NEXIST, as the absence of sources in a Wikipedia article is not evidence that the sources do not exist. It's possible that nobody simply added them yet. You really missed this distinction with Ciney Gurung for example. Cheers. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (Talk|Contribs) 15:44, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I added AFDs number of Nepali wikipedia articles cause i found that there are many pages on wikipedia which are not notable and also they've got their link deleted. I am just reviewing page. Thanks for your suggestion Atlantic306 & DOOMSDAYER520 . I'll reduce to review and check WP:BEFORE before nominating article for deletion. SeytX (talk)

Could you also withdraw the current nominations? That would save us all some time. --Soman (talk) 18:25, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Soman i'll look after that. SeytX (talk)

Deletion discussion about Rahul Singh ( Entrepreneur)[edit]

Hello, SeytX,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Rahul Singh ( Entrepreneur) should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rahul Singh ( Entrepreneur) .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

Slatersteven (talk) 19:18, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks slatersteven i respect the desicion which you have made. SeytX (talk)

Articles for Deletion[edit]

hello. Please do not nominate articles for deletion until you understand how to do it. Your nomination of Krishna Reddy (artist) is just plain wrong, as you clearly failed to do the WP:BEFORE.104.163.148.25 (talk) 04:23, 16 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Tomas Samalionis requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. bonadea contributions talk 06:39, 16 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Rahul Singh ( Entrepreneur), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, SeytX. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Since you have created two articles about two non-notable entrepeneurs, Tomas Samalionis and Rahul Singh ( Entrepreneur), please state if you have been recompensed for this work. Issuing level 1 warning about removing AfD template from articles before the discussion is complete. (Peachy 2.0 (alpha 8))[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Abhi Subedi. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it.—cyberbot ITalk to my owner:Online 19:35, 16 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • The better way to withdraw your nomination is to go to the AfD page and add a message that you're withdrawing the nomination. If no other users have recommended to delete the article, then the AfD can be closed. There are a few AfDs you created that have to be left open, because other editors have recommended deletion of the article. —C.Fred (talk) 19:52, 16 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • You all told to remove afd and i'm getting warning but i've already removed all of the afds. so, i cannot undo it. SeytX (talk)
