A tag has been placed on ABAS Software AG, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia for multiple reasons. Please see the page to see the reasons. If the page has since been deleted, you can ask me the reasons by leaving a message on my user talk page.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 14:18, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article ABAS Software has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

insufficient evidence that it meets the notability criteria for software

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 18:23, 8 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

reply to e-mail[edit]

Discussing Wikipedia matters via e-mail is pretty ridiculous since one usually needs to create wikilinks. You asked: "did you also flag/delete those pages? [list of 15 articles]". The superficial answer is: yes, I tagged a now-deleted state of CDC Software thus: 2008-03-11T23:28:06 . . RHaworth (talk | contribs | block) (4,680 bytes) ({{db|reposted spam}}). Apart from that, I am not aware of touching any of these articles. I assume you are really saying: "why are you persecuting ABAS Software when all these other equally spammy / unreferenced articles exist". We have a standard argument for that: WP:OTHERSTUFF. I happen to have seen the article about your company so I will pursue the deletion proposal until it gets deleted or I see a consensus to retain it. I have plenty of other wiki matters to attend to without working through your list. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 18:34, 8 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

How does X work?[edit]

Why would you still select this article for speedy deletion?? I have sourced for reliavble sources and it should not sound like advertisement. Could you please tell me what to enhance instead of just selecting it for deletion while I am still improving it? Thank you in advance! Sawa123 (talk) 09:27, 9 September 2011 (UTC)sawa123[reply]

  • It might be an idea if you told us which article you are talking about. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 10:35, 9 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Still the same: abas Software, I didn't think this was going to be so complicated, first this has to be fixed.... See below the comment/question I wrote to your post. Thanks you!Sawa123 (talk) 11:14, 9 September 2011 (UTC)sawa123[reply]

Deletion of abas Software[edit]

Dear RHworth, your talking about an email of an CIO (whatever that is?!?). The email was not written by myself, I asked for help because I don't understand everything that is complained about. My English is good enough, but some things are just written too complicated! So I appologize for this misunderstanding. However, I just don't understand why my article is selected for deletion while I am still writing on it. Also I read the criteria many times by now, my understanding for it is getting better and better, and yet, I do not agree with the new request for deletion. I cited reliable references and it is all about the software, which makes it impossible to be written like an advertisement. Would you please be so kind and give me a tip what else I need to enhance? I already posted a "help" box on my page, because I am really truly considering all the necessary criteria and I just don't understand why the article is marked again. Thank you in advance. Sawa123 (talk) 10:08, 9 September 2011 (UTC)sawa123[reply]

Yes I can assure that. And I was really trying to concidered all the points mentioned, and now after all the work and time I put into it, I do not want to give up until the article stays! As far as I understand there are not enough sources, right? But the sources I found are rereliable, aren't they? So all I need to do now is find more sources and put them where?? Thank you very much for you help!!! Sawa123 (talk) 10:54, 9 September 2011 (UTC)sawa123[reply]

  • No COI?? Perhaps you would care to create Sawa123 with a few words about your interests and what other topics you intend to write about. Yes - I am suggesting more sources. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:26, 9 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • I used to work for a competitor... I guess that is my interest. And now, as I said, I took so much effort and time that I cannot accept that it will be deleted again. So that could be my interest too. During this process I saw many other sites I could help with (erp as well as engineering and so on), but if it is always that complicated, I will see what I can do as a wikipedian! I will see that I can find more sources. Thanks again! Sawa123 (talk) 11:42, 9 September 2011 (UTC)sawa123[reply]

Deletion of abas Software[edit]

Hi RHworth, would it be possible to repost the earliest version of the article of ABAS Software, that was online for a couple of years before I started working on it? That would be very kind of you. Thank you in advance. Sawa123 (talk) 07:18, 21 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on ABAS Software, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

Vrenator (talk) 10:20, 26 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • I replaced the article WITH a new reliable source of a third party. Sawa123 (talk) 10:49, 26 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

ABAS Software[edit]

Hey there. I know that this can be frustrating, but in order for the article to be restored it will need to be rewritten. You can do this in your user space or alternatively, using the article creation wizard, but adding a source does not a new article make. I apologise again for any frustration which has been caused and if you have any questions please do message me on my talk page. I'd be more than happy to help.
