Welcome[edit]

Welcome, Sara/Ary from EncycloPetey/Walraven. Glad to finally see a "familiar face". You'll have noticed (I hope) that the onomastics articles are in need of lots of work. I'm currently working on the blazon article (and was the one who initially added it as a language for the user pages--thank's for fixing the typo). By the way, there is no blz-4 because it's not anyone's "native language". You want to use blz-3, which indicates "fluency". You can see what the template looks like on my user page if you click the link below.

I plan to then go through expansion of articles on the heraldic ordinaries and tincture, but first want to expand the corresponding entries in Wiktionary. I've already done some work in Wiktionary on the words: blazon, coat of arms, herald, heraldry, and heraldic, but have only just started over there. Hope to see you around. Let me know if I can be of help by leaving a message on my User Talk page. -- EncycloPetey 04:06, 19 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Likewise[edit]

Like you, I've found that my contributions thus far have been in the area of my degree (botany), rather than heraldry and onomastics. I was shocked at some of the basic ommissions of articles on basic plant anatomy. For instance, there was not an article even started on vascular tissue!! I'm also helping to sort stub articles in organismal biology and ecology. I want to know what articles exist already before I start spewing out new ones. -- EncycloPetey 02:59, 20 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Journal of Analytic Theology has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable, relatively new, journal. Not indexed in any selective databases, no independent sources. Does not meet WP:NJournals or WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hello, Sara Uckelman. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Helen De Cruz, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Disambiguation link notification for September 12[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Hansson (surname), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page John (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:28, 12 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Sara Uckelman. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Birgit Kellner, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Birgit Kellner to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Dogaressa Elena moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Dogaressa Elena, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page British Logic Colloquium, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A bare URL error. References show this error when one of the URL-containing parameters cannot be paired with an associated title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 14:55, 27 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve British Logic Colloquium[edit]

Hello, Sara Uckelman,

Thank you for creating British Logic Colloquium.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

The key issue here is that all of the references are from the organization itself or its routine listing on a charity commission site. It would very helpful to have reliable sources independent of the organization that consider it to be worth writing about.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Klbrain}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.
