Blue Is the Warmest Colour[edit]

Hi. I've removed the info about the American release date from the infobox per WP:FILMRELEASE which states "The film infobox is too small to reproduce the long lists of release dates provided by sources such as the Internet Movie Database. Release dates should therefore be restricted to the film's earliest release, whether it was at a film festival or a public release, and the release date(s) in the country or countries that produced the film..." IE, as it's not an American film, the American date is not needed in the infobox. Thanks. Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 08:16, 8 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

On the plus side, the link is useful to expand the release section, so thanks for that! Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 08:31, 8 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Barnstar of Awesome[edit]

Barnstar of Awesome
You are hereby awarded the Barnstar of Awesome for your amazing work alpha-testing The Wikipedia Adventure. Over 180 bugs were identified and 143 of them have been fixed already! (The rest are catalogued as known bugs).

You. Are. Awesome. Check out your name in the game credits here: WP:TWA/About.

Thank you again :) --User:Ocaasi 17:34, 23 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

How you can help even more!
(and for which there may or may not be a super secret second extreme helper barnstar)
  • Start over fresh with a new account: Like User:OcaasiTWA17 (these are legitimate alternate testing accounts and are not considered sockpuppets)
  • Finish the game: Give some attention to missions 5-7 (which have been tested much less)
  • Try a different browser: If you used Safari, try Firefox (or Chrome, Internet Explorer, Opera...)
  • Show the game to a friend or family member to see how they like it and if they get stuck anywhere

Cheers! Ocaasi t | c 14:37, 24 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

OMG I'm so glad I'm still watching this talk page and learned about the existence of TWA. I know what I'll be doing tonight... ;) ☺ · Salvidrim! ·  16:26, 24 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Yukio Futatsugi.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Yukio Futatsugi.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 17:03, 27 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for November 2[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Reddit can help[edit]

Hi Samwalton9. I just wanted to say thank you for reaching out to the reddit community for assistance on the Bitcoin article. I was thinking of doing the same thing today myself, but you beat me to it. Chris Arnesen 22:44, 24 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Not a problem, in all honesty one of the main reasons was being sick of seeing them bitch about it every other day without actually doing anything. I think it's been constructive overall though the subreddit still seems slightly apathetic towards actually suggesting changes. I wouldn't be surprised if they started complaining again in a day or two ;) Samwalton9 (talk) 22:49, 24 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
