Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Senator David Omueya Dafinone requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. reddogsix (talk) 00:57, 1 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

March 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Dauda Soroye Adegbenro. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:

|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]

Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg.

There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! July 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm JalenFolf. I noticed that you recently removed all content from Bharti Airtel. Please do not do this. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. As a rule, if you discover a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If a page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you wish to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jalen D. Disambiguation link notification for January 23[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Bernard Fonlon, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cameroonian. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:18, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Samatics, please do not add ethnicity-based categories to articles without proper sources demonstrating their belonging as you did here. Please familiarize yourself with WP:EGRS for an explanation as to why.--User:Namiba 19:31, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Obi Iyiegbu[edit]

Hello Samatics,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Obi Iyiegbu for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Stub tags go at end[edit]

Hallo, Thanks for creating Badagry Heritage Museum and giving it {{Nigeria-museum-stub}}. Please remember to put all stub tags right at the end of the article, after categories and everything else - see WP:ORDER. In this case an editor (@John B123:) saw the article, didn't noitce the stub tag because it was in the wrong place, and added {{stub}}, so it turned up in Category:Stubs while I was stub-sorting, all a bit of a waste of time. Thanks, and Happy Editing. PamD 21:20, 24 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Margaret Bandele Olayinka[edit]

Hello, Samatics,

Thank you for creating Margaret Bandele Olayinka.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

This article needs more references to satisfy notability for biography of living persons. What is needed are references giving significant coverage about this person, and independent of them, in multiple secondary sources which are reliable - WP:RS; that is your guide.
You may also read WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.
