Battle of Košare

Hello, I just wanted to let you know of a situation that is developing at the article Battle of Košare at which you were involved in the past. In the past months, editor Durraz0 has been removing referenced info, along with its sources, and introducing information without providing any sources (violation of OR guideline) or even leaving information that is contrary to the cited references. After a time, the article was stabilized for a few weeks, after a few other editors who were also making unsourced POV edits and constantly edit warring were blocked. However, recently, Durraz0 has once again been making the same edits, making full reverts without any explanation in the edit summary. Please feel free to verify how unconstructive the edits were yourself [1][2]. The nature of the edits I think would have to warrant some attention to the changes being made at the article so it would stay within Wikipedia's guidelines on verifiability. In case Durraz0 does at one point decide to use the talk page for a discussion (he has not up to this point), you could also engage in that discussion and maybe propose a compromise that could be reached to improve the article. Cheers and have a Happy New Year! EkoGraf (talk) 13:26, 29 December 2020 (UTC)

And he did it again this morning [3]. EkoGraf (talk) 09:39, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
Thank you for letting me know, I was very busy these days with my work but I'll keep the article on my watchlist. Thank you for your hard work and patience. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 03:50, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
No problem, thank you as well and have a Happy New Year! :) EkoGraf (talk) 15:11, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
Hvala, Happy New Year to you as well! Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 16:30, 1 January 2021 (UTC)

Bosnian War - I support your edit now but question.

I agree with your revert now seeing you explanation of image overkill which I missed. Sorry about that. But how was my argument about image appropriateness and comparing other articles with far more young viewer unfriendly images? You never really refuted my point on that. I am fine with your revert considering your secondary reasoning. But I don’t see a skull to be as traumatic to images in other war articles. I know “whataboutism” is not an argument itself but I feel precedents are fair to bring up. Heck even in history books when I was a kid in school, there were far more gruesome images.

If you could explain so that in the future I understand better it would be appreciated. As I am still learning the ropes. As the first part of your diff comes across dismissive and not really countering my argument. I mean this respectfully not passive aggressively. Cheers. OyMosby (talk) 19:36, 13 January 2021 (UTC)

I'm never in favour of adding that sort of images to a project which is accessible to 10-years-olds. One could argue that kids see that sort of visuals on the TV and video games all the time, but I see no point in that line of thought, because, in my mind, young girls and boys should be protected from that sort of images until they reach a certain age. Such images (and videos) can be very traumatic. I removed similar images on one or two more articles and I remember that editors were split. Anyhow, there is no definitive rule about it on Wiki, as far as I know. There is 1 more image (victims from Vitez) which I would like to remove, if I have the consensus. As for now, it seems that nobody is bothered with the image overkill except for you and me. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 21:11, 13 January 2021 (UTC)
Hi :) Found this talk page because of an unrelated report at WP:AIV. Just saying, there are two "rules" to consider:
  • WP:NOTCENSORED: "Attempting to ensure that articles and images will be acceptable to all readers, or will adhere to general social or religious norms, is incompatible with the purposes of an encyclopedia. [...] Some articles may include images, text, or links which are relevant to the topic but that some people find objectionable. Discussion of potentially objectionable content should usually focus not on its potential offensiveness but on whether it is an appropriate image, text, or link. Beyond that, "being objectionable" is generally not sufficient grounds for the removal of content."
  • WP:ONUS: "While information must be verifiable to be included in an article, not all verifiable information needs to be included in an article. [...] The onus to achieve consensus for inclusion is on those seeking to include disputed content."
Also, of course, WP:EW is an important, relevant policy. WP:DR explains possible ways to deal with such disputes.

Thank you kindly. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 14:09, 14 January 2021 (UTC)

Vlaho Bukovac

Hi Sadko, in the article it says “Bukovac was the court painter for Obrenović dynasty and Karađorđević dynasty.” Though this lacks a source. I noticed in thebkwad you added another dynasty he did work for but this was missing in the body so didn’t know. Should we add that dynasty to the body? Also can you help located citation. I don’t doubt it but still want to add a source to avoid future people coming in causing problems. I added Natalie of Serbia painting to the infobox as from what I see he won an honor from the state by the court for it. Thanks. OyMosby (talk) 18:09, 1 January 2021 (UTC)

I think 3 good citations is enough. Also do they include Petrović-Njegoš dynasty? If so that should be in the body along side the other two dynasties. Not sure if you saw it is missing. Left it to you to work on.OyMosby (talk) 18:22, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
I've added citations for everything and some more info. Please take a look. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 18:27, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
I did and some of them don’t specific all three (Just one or two) or specifically which dynasties he worked for. Do you have perhaps 3 RS sources that more clearly state the dynasties? Also some of these sources seem like portals. Maybe we can find books about him. I’ll take a peak at Google Books and hopefully something shows up. You read Cyrillic easily so if you can look at Serbian books on him that would be helpful. I have to Google translate each news or blog article. OyMosby (talk) 18:32, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
Having a hard time with google webpage and book results. I would think there would be more on him in the mainstream. I know he definitely did work for the first two Serbian Dynasties. I hope you don’t think I don’t believe you or anything, I do. OyMosby (talk) 18:39, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
This work[4] goes into details about it. I've read it but I do not own it and I would need to make some calls to SANU in order to get it, which is all on hold now.
Bukovac je u Srbiju dolazio nekoliko puta, vrlo je dobro još prvi put primljen na dvoru, o čemu je i pisao u svojim memoarima, pa je portretisao i Obrenoviće i Karađorđeviće i to na njihov poziv.[1] Other sources state the same thing.
I've added entirely different sources for his work for the dynasty from Montenegro (apparently Bukovac quarrelled with Nicholas I of Montenegro beause he was not paid enought but did it "for reputation").
3in1 Osim Petrovića, portretisao je i Obrenoviće, ali i Karađorđeviće, a taj kontinuitet sa vlastima u Beogradu „nastavljen“ je i u komunističkoj Jugoslaviji. [2] cheers Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 18:42, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
@OyMosby: [5] Petrović-Njegoš dynasty was not Serbian, it was a Serb dynasty (ethnicity, mostly Serb patriots or nationalists) and it was Montenegrin (state/region/nationality) i.e. Kingdom of Montenegro. It's a bit complicated, sorry. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 19:01, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
Got to look over the rest. Nova and Danas are perfect articles that describe the three dynasties, court paint work and even on Montenegro. I removed some sources that weren’t really descriptive or specific. Also citation overkill anyway. Your addition on Montenegro looks good. Also no worries, there are so many crossovers between Serbs and Montenegrins and Croats and etc it makes the head spin. In fact the awarded painting of Natalie of Serbia, Natalie is Russian and Moldovan I believe. Intermarriage of royalties and adopted royals and so on all over Europe. Concept of ethnicity within Slavic tribes is headache inducing as you know. Cheers, OyMosby (talk) 19:06, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
Looks good, ty. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 19:36, 1 January 2021 (UTC)

Problematic edits

This here is a prime example of why people should be forced to make an account in order to edit Wikipedia. Not to mention for privacy and safety reasons, people’s IPs shouldn’t be on display. I don’t know why Wikipedia doesn’t have this as a rule. Many websites require registration. Nothing prevents a person from doing so. This IP isn’t static and is a bane on what is already a hot area of Wikipedia. Thoughts? OyMosby (talk) 20:39, 11 January 2021 (UTC)

There is a bunch of editors who think that registration should be required. The community is divided, there are pros and cons, that's for sure.
My opinion is that IP editors should be allowed to edit, hence "the free encyclopedia", but I also think that stricter policies should be in place for IP editors (who are disruptive). I hope that admins will block his/her IP range next time. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 21:18, 11 January 2021 (UTC)

Happy New Year and a beer for you! (If you drink)

Also wanted to tap on the topic of Art. I’m very into photography and photos and paintings. Also learning in the past year of South Slavic Composers and Painters. So if you ever need a second pair of eyes or help do not hesitate to call on me. Have a happy and healthy new year to you and your family. May this year be better than the last.... DAI

I didn’t mean DAI is illegitimate as an existing source. But wasn’t it established ad nauseam on multiple talk pages that the problem is it’s primary source and extremely old? WP:PRIMARY and WP:AGEMATTERS? It would be like using quotes from an interview of here-say and using it as a factoid. Wouldn’t that make it not an RS sourcing? Unless I’m missing the bigger picture here? I am open to self-reverting if it can be explained that way the burden of revert isn’t on your end. .Cheers.OyMosby (talk) 22:51, 4 January 2021 (UTC)

DAI is mostly RS, and it's been used for the laying out all the key information regarding who was there and doing what in that period by several noteworthy historians (if not all of them).
It was quoted and used by Vladimir Ćorović, Sima Ćirković, Jovan Deretić, Tibor Živković and other historians. It's the basic document for the period, and when neutrally stated - according to DAI or per the writings in DAI, it can be used and I think that it's - RS. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 23:02, 4 January 2021 (UTC)
I’ll undo for know since historians have analyzed it and we have secondary sourcing based on what you said. I don’t understand the discussion that happened a week ago but again will undo since you make a fair point I think. OyMosby (talk) 23:08, 4 January 2021 (UTC)

Viseslav talk page

Greetings you are probably sick of it but I think that discussion on Viseslav of Serbia is stale, I would ask you if you have time to check the information regarding Duklja and what Fine writes about it. It is on page 202. and 225 (I provided the quotes on TP) but maybe I am wrong. I would also like if Sorabino and Amanuensis Balkanicus examine the source because I think it is obvious what Fine says and it is not misused. Here is the book [[6]] and sorry for disturbing you. Theonewithreason (talk). 6 January 2021 (UTC)

You are not wrong, I've read the work. As for now, I do not have the time to work on that. Thanks man, Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 17:49, 6 January 2021 (UTC)

Serbian literature template

Hi Sadko,

Thanks for the improvements to the Serbian literature template. I wanted to ask your thoughts on the inclusion of Milovan Đilas. He was more of someone with published books rather than someone known for their literature. I would not consider him a književnik.

What are your thoughts on this matter? All the best. – PidgeCopetti (talk) 12:52, 10 January 2021 (UTC)

@PidgeCopetti: I see your point, I removed some other figures who were, much like Đilas, publicists and public figures. We should would keep him on the list, because he has authored several super works (like the one on Njegoš) and his oeuvre is well-known in specialized circles abroad. What do you think? cheers, Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 17:02, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
@Sadko: Well, it doesn't "hurt" to keep him there but I still wouldn't consider his work as književnost in the literal sense of the word. He was more of a theorist/essayist I would say. It's up to you. Great work with the template by the way, I appreciate you making it! Do you think Miro Vuksanović would be a good addition to the template? PidgeCopetti (talk) 18:48, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
@PidgeCopetti:My pleasure. If you want to work on some more articles, I am happy to help out. Miro V. would make a great fit. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 18:51, 10 January 2021 (UTC)

Unfortunate and disappointing

[[8]]

Empathizing and enabling the guy attacking me and disregarding others while ignoring RS and using IPs and accounts to get around page locks. I’m quite surpised to see this, Sadko. We shouldn’t condone such behavior as you know we have enough of that already in the Balkan topic areas.

[individual goes after me and calls others liars and not listening]

“ dishonest arguments from clearly overemotional users who might straight out ignore what other users say”

This individual described themselves. I even responded to Peacemaker saying you likely missed his quotes which turned out to be the case with his over the top response.

I am disappointed to see you approve of and condone such behavior. Stating “as you've witnessed.” Implying everyone else was complicit.. This person who editwarred against multiple editors. Ignored RS and insulted users in absences of explaining why the sources Peacemaker brought were wrong.

Again people will notice this. And I would suggest removing or rephrasing your comment to them on their page telling them to also not get so aggressive as we all can admit we have our episodes. As so far their edits haven’t been positive. They received warnings in multiples. We should help them improve their methods. Not take sides for the sake of it.

Make of it what you will, Sadko. Regards, OyMosby (talk) 20:45, 3 February 2021 (UTC)

Please do not be melodramatic. I understand your impression and how it might look like, depending on the interpretation. I would make the same comment/response to PM regardless, but thanks for that.
The point of my post to that particular editor is merely an invitation to join the project on a broader scale, as he/she seems familiar with the topic.
I did not follow closely on his slurs and the insults which you may or may not have exchanged. My post is not encouraging that sort of behaviour. In fact I think that that editor is not familiar with rules and guidelines. Another thing, in any further situations in which you are not sure what my intention is or was - ask me first, do not assume. I do not enjoy "guilty by association" sort of comments or indirect or direct accusations, and I had my fair share of those here. cheers, Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 21:18, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
Sadko let’s relax. I’m not being melodramatic here. I don’t get these meaningless labels. You are assuming things about me as we speak which you said you are against. I was just expressing disappointment in how you didn’t explain to this new user proper ways to conduct themselves. Of which I could have handled better myself. But their off topic biased tangents were getting annoying. I said you are enabling his behavior when saying “as you can see” and thanking him for his disruptive edits and argument tactics. It’s point blank looks like condoning whatthey were doing. It’s really inarguably obvious.
I didn’t say you support their bad editing or behavior on purpose. I shouldn’t have to explain this to you Sadko. I said doesn’t look good. Hence my recommendation on changing it. But it’s up to you as I said. I am not unsure of it as It’s all there. Nothing really for me to ask you would change my initial comment. I didn’t say you are a bad person or understand the guilt complex going on here. Which is melodramatic itself. Can we not have heart to heart discussions here? Invite the editor by teaching them the right way. Not implying to them that the “others” are examples of the problem. I think my post here was fair. To avoid “guilt by association”, look into the behavior of the individual. That’s all.
Look, I’m sorry if I offended you or feel I hurt or accused you. This wasn’t meant to be a big deal. Was just saying. Often our commentary don’t read well in black and white text when expressing concerns. Cheers and stay safe. The virus cases are spiking everywhere. OyMosby (talk) 21:44, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
Tweaks were made. No problems mate.
I still have my antibodies and I'll be getting my vaccine some time soon. Stay safe. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 22:23, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
You had Covid too? Hope it wasn’t too bad. It’s ridiculous how unpredictable the response is to the viruse person to purpose. OyMosby (talk) 22:43, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
Yeah, it was not as bad as I expected, but still... I'm sure you know too well how tricky and complicated it can get. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 22:46, 3 February 2021 (UTC)

Recognition of Kosovo

How is it POV? Did you see the source i sent you with the letter from Comoros? What more do you want? Albaniakosova14 (talk) 13:56, 8 February 2021 (UTC)

Nothing is stated directly. Yes, I have seen it. There is no need to discuss this on my personal TP. Thank you, Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 13:58, 8 February 2021 (UTC)

Confused with interpretation

Hi Sadko, you had made the edit Here so figured you would be best to ask. What is the interpretation of “ Ban on marriage to minor degrees of relationship imposed by the Roman Catholic Church was met with heavy criticism in the Croatian society of the time,”. Th source says it was imposed the the Byzantines instead. And what is meant by minor degrees of relationship? Are they talking about intermarriage? It’s worded in such a strange way in the book that I don’t know if marriage is meant literally, or combining church traditions. Thanks. OyMosby (talk) 21:05, 9 February 2021 (UTC)

It was not imposed to or by the Eastern Roman Empire. Yes, it's about minor degrees of relationship, you can add that wording if you think that it is an improvement. bb, Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 21:18, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
So marriage of relatives or cousins, to put it bluntly?OyMosby (talk) 23:56, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
That seems to be the case. If I got it wrong, and I doubt it, I would very much like to see your improvement of the content. cheers, Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 01:07, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
Didn’t accuse you of getting wrong but whether I was getting it right. First I heard of this and I’m not well versed in religious history in the region. Though I’m sure there are many larger issues Croats had with the church I’m sure. The source wording was all that co fused me. Like I said I’ll look more into it if the section could use mor examples. Cheers OyMosby (talk) 02:11, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
I understand. It's per 1 very reliable source and it is not at all surprising for that period. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 02:12, 10 February 2021 (UTC)

Serbian literature

Hello:

The copy edit you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article Serbian literature has been completed.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

There are a few sections in the article that do not have citations. I did not bother to tag them since they're fairly easy to spot. I quickly found and added a few in the Contemporary Literature section.

I know tabloids and newspapers can sensationalize things so hard to tel when to or not trust the news sources from the Balkans. I know B92 and such are RS, not sure what else. Is Index.HR not RS? Or is it more gossip? I’m not entirely familiar with regional news or tabloid organizations. If you have a list or tips I’d appreciate it! I'll get back to you some time later on this. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 12:27, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
1) I know who the IP is. The same person is well-known for his chauvinistic and even racist remarks on several internet forums and pages I used to visit anonymously, including the biggest forums in Serbia and Croatia. I have a whole collection of links proving that. You would not believe the stuff he writes, it is simply disgusting and the dark part of the internet, for sure. Everything written here and the overall style is just playing nice. 2) As for the newspapers/magazines, in Serbia those are Politika/NIN/Vreme/Pecat, those that you do not want used as sources are Kurir/Informer/Alo. B92 is somewhere in the middle, and so are Novosti and Danas. Blic is the darker shade of grey I would say but they still have several great journalists, so each ref. should be checked on its own merit. It would be better to ask somebody from Croatia for their part of the good sources. I used to read all those magazines and what not, it seems, ages ago, so I might not have the latest update. Stay safe. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 22:59, 24 February 2021 (UTC)

Battle of Kosare

Hello Sadko, I wanted to give you an update about the situation at the Battle of Košare. User Durraz0 and me managed to engage in a proper discussion at the talk page and we found a compromise solution for the article satisfactory for both sides and implemented it, while he admitted to making a mistake before when he just copy-pasted the older version of the article, removing references and so on, and said he would work on correcting himself in the future in this regard. Everything was then fine for a few weeks until editor Adhurim Jakupi, that was previously blocked three times for edit warring at Kosare and Pastrik battle articles, showed up and once again did a blanket revert of the text in the article (removing the compromise wording, removing sources and inserting unsourced text) without any edit summary. I reinstated the discussed-on compromise version, making a note of this in the edit summary and asking Adhurim Jakupi to engage at the talk page. I am guessing, based on his past behavior, that Adhurim Jakupi will just simply revert me first chance he gets and will not engage at the talk page. Like before, any help you could provide in reaching a solution at the article would be appreciated. Cheers! EkoGraf (talk) 18:32, 23 February 2021 (UTC)

I am looking forward to hear from you again, to stay in contact and to possibly work together in the future. Sincerely, —Sundostund (talk) 17:14, 1 March 2021 (UTC)

Zdravo! Thank you for your kind words. Indeed we do. Of course, let's stay in touch and maybe we can work on some articles jointly in the near future. cheers, Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 21:45, 1 March 2021 (UTC)

Hello, I would be curious to know what you think about this edit. — Biruitorul Talk 17:59, 7 March 2021 (UTC)

I've reverted the edit. It makes little sense to add that category. Thank you B. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 18:46, 7 March 2021 (UTC)

Notice that you are now subject to an arbitration enforcement sanction

The following sanction now applies to you:

indefinite topic ban from WP:ARBEE

You have been sanctioned for the reasons provided in response to this arbitration enforcement request.

This sanction is imposed in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator under the authority of the Arbitration Committee's decision at EE#Final decision and, if applicable, the procedure described at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions. This sanction has been recorded in the log of sanctions. If the sanction includes a ban, please read the banning policy to ensure you understand what this means. If you do not comply with this sanction, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions.

You may appeal this sanction using the process described here. I recommend that you use the arbitration enforcement appeals template if you wish to submit an appeal to the arbitration enforcement noticeboard. You may also appeal directly to me (on my talk page), before or instead of appealing to the noticeboard. Even if you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are also free to contact me on my talk page if anything of the above is unclear to you. In actu (Guerillero) Parlez Moi 01:55, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

@Guerillero: Dully noted and expected.
In a way, it is good news. :) I understand that you are simply doing your admin. duties, but do correct me if I am wrong here, was there any sort of consensus for indef. and issuing a warning to AB? I double checked and I can see several admins and other editors holding different viewpoints on each of these matters.
Oh yes, do please see my question posted here. Cheers. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 03:13, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
Sanctions at AE tend to be indefinite unless otherwise specified -- Guerillero Parlez Moi 18:56, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

Hey, Sadko--I know you are not allowed to edit/discuss/etc. these matters, and I feel for you, but there is one thing you can do for me and for Wikipedia: without even saying anything about the subject matter, I need you to tell me which editor would be helpful in getting this article in better shape than it is. I did about all I can do. If you're going to get out from this topic ban, and I assume you will try in a couple months, your case will be strengthened by showing you are in control of things and you have the best interests of the project at heart. So here's one opportunity for you--just give me the name of a good-faith editor who knows their history. As an admin, one who's done some work in various controversial areas, I can guarantee you that answering me will not violate your ban as long as you just give me a name; we're not discussing anything or talking about any content. Just to make sure this is above board, I'm pinging Bishonen and Guerillero. Thanks, and take care, Drmies (talk) 23:21, 31 March 2021 (UTC)

Good day @Drmies: you could try and email sr.wiki admin. Marko who is a published author/trained historian. Fellow editor Vacant0 has done some great work as well. I hope that helps, take care. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 23:46, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
Thanks--I appreciate it. And yes, you can edit your user page (though within the restrictions, of course). Let's see if User:Vacant0 has interest in that article. Drmies (talk) 00:22, 1 April 2021 (UTC)

Good Day

Hi Sadko. Haven’t spoken to you in a while and wanted to see how you are doing? Not sure if you live in Serbia or have family there. How are things there? Has vaccine administration begun? Hope all is good given COVID. We Yanks are slowly getting the hang of running a country a century and a half later. Learning the hard way through growing pains. :/ Balkans seemed to be more on top of things. Which is good to see!

Also, wanted to see with you if you would be interested in collaborating on some Non-Balkan articles? I reached mental burn-out and don’t have time to deal with reverts and drama as I am sure you too tire of that shit. I first came to Wikipedia not to dedicate time exclusively to that but a hobby to edit Wikipedia in general. But got preoccupied. And given your temporary edit restrictions this could be good rep work for when you want to appeal. Especially if they see us two work well together. Just a thought. Let me know by pinging me here. Stay safe. Regards OyMosby (talk) 15:09, 21 April 2021 (UTC)

Good day OM. I have family there and other family members all over the place (East Coast included). I got my Pfizer's COVID-19 Vaccine in Serbia. They did a hell of a job, which was something entirely new for me. I'm glad things are settling down in the US. The situation seemed rather chaotic in the past few years over there. I hope your family is fine as well.
I don't have the time for new endeavours on en.wiki, at the moment at least, but I appreciate and like the idea very much and I might ask you for a joint work on any non-Balkan article in a month or two. Take care and thanks, Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 12:13, 23 April 2021 (UTC)
Just saw your response. That’s good to hear! I recall Europe facing issues with shortages over the Astrozenica fiasco. We are doing alright here, thanks for asking. Do let me know when you are ready. Cheers OyMosby (talk) 14:34, 11 May 2021 (UTC)

Culture of Serbia

Hello:

The copy edit you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article Culture of Serbia has been completed.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

I actually feel the article's style is not too bad. I did have to remove some repetitive material. The two biggest problems with the article are that sections of it are out of date and many statements lack citations. I did not check, but I suspect that various contributors brought sentences from the "main" into the sections of this one. If this is the case, the citations used in the main article could be used in this one. If not, citations will have to be found elsewhere.

Regards,

Twofingered Typist (talk) 21:04, 21 April 2021 (UTC)

Thank you kindly. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 12:14, 23 April 2021 (UTC)

Bosnian mentioned twice in 2011 census

Hello, Sadko, hope all is well, I was reading through this article and noticed that Bosnina is mentioned twice in the 2011 Language statistics. I don't have access to the census so I am just forwarding it to you since you are an active editor from this region.

Hi again

Not Wiki related. I see you are a fellow vegetarian, Fire Fly and art and photography lover. I’m quite into photography myself. Any tips on good sources or websites for learning photography and camera equipment? I’m still a bit of an amateur myself. Hadn’t come across other editors before that share a similar hobby. Also as a rambunctious Yankee, I agree, the UN should leave the US and be in Brussels. Not to mention, not sure if you have been there, the building is literally falling apart lol. Metaphorical in a way. As UN current to me means Useless Nations as I don’t feel enough progress is made by the organization. My country is heavily to blame. Guess we have a lot in common interestingly. Just wanted to humanize us two as it is sterile talking to strangers through emotionless text as I realize more and more. Hope you are doing well. Warm regards. OyMosby (talk) 16:42, 13 May 2021 (UTC)

Hello again. To be honest, I am mostly self-taught and the best tip I can give you is to take the camera and go out there and experiment.
Naturally I agree with your shared viewpoints. Ha, the fact that the UN building is in poor condition is a great irony. I do get your point, Wikipedia can sometimes feel cold and sterile. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 16:11, 19 May 2021 (UTC)

Hey

Hello Bro, how are you doing? Montenegro wiki has many problems currently, Terrible that you can not help contribute here anymore.Surix321 (talk) 01:19, 10 June 2022 (UTC)

Hello Surix321. I'm overall doing great, busy in RL with several projects. Thank you for asking. How are you?
The things is, gaming the system can take place only for a limited period of time, and it will crumble to dust sooner or later, as well as recently added various neoromantic theories.
Don't give up and just keep working. We've successfully dealt with way worse. Have a great weekend. Sadkσ (words are wind) 11:36, 10 June 2022 (UTC)
Hey, sorry to bother, but do you have any sources that are reliable that the Vasojevići are of Slavic descent or from Herzegovina by origin? Thanks, All the best. Surix321 (talk) 13:16, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
I have some ideas. It would be easier to email and exchange literature, if that is fine with you. Best. Sadkσ (words are wind) 21:25, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
Sounds good, Do you maybe have discord or would you like to email.? Surix321 (talk) 21:28, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
I'm not sure what that is. I rarely email but I see no other way to exchange literature and we should not use the TP as if it was a chatroom. Cheers. — Sadko (words are wind) 21:30, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
Alright, how can I get you on email? Surix321 (talk) 21:31, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
There is an option - Email this user - see it on your left side of the screen. — Sadko (words are wind) 21:32, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
I don’t see it, on google it says it’s supposed to be on the tool section. Surix321 (talk) 23:07, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
@Surix321: Here you go. — Sadko (words are wind) 18:42, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
yep this is where i looked however -Email this User- is not visible there Surix321 (talk) 18:50, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
Try a different browser or clearing your internet cache. — Sadko (words are wind) 22:03, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
Can you try to email me, I verified my email address so it should work now, It still doesn't show yours. Surix321 (talk) 00:47, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
I can't see the option to email you. Are you sure that you enabled it? Too bad. — Sadko (words are wind) 21:08, 26 June 2022 (UTC)
