Risks involved with paid contributions[edit]

Hi S-M-T-AA,

Hamaredha has acted inappropriately by requesting money in response to a help request. Wikipedia's conflict of interest guideline, section "Solicitations by paid editors", warns against this type of solicitation, for example because it lacks important information. I have asked Hamaredha not to continue this behavior.

To quote the guideline, I recommend that you do not do business with Hamaredha.

Additional, standardized advice about conflicts of interests follows below.

Best regards,
~ ToBeFree (talk) 08:56, 11 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, S-M-T-AA. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 08:56, 11 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello my friend, thank you very much for your welcome.
Yes, I definitely read Wikipedia sites. No, don't worry, I have already read about conflicts of interest and have not created a page about any of my relatives. Thank you once again for your friendly welcome and guidance. S-M-T-AA (talk) 17:11, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
