Editors that don't provide an edit summary tend to look like vandals[edit]

I have noticed you commonly don't enter an edit summary as you didn't when you edited Cannibal Corpse discography (see this edit). This causes me problems. When I patrol for vandalism, I use the summary to make a preliminary decision on whether or not the post is a vandal edit or not. If the summary is present (or at least a section header, the part inside the /* */), I commonly decide the edit is legit and move on.

However, if no edit summary is available, I typically resort to loading the diff for the edit. This takes time. For that reason, if your edits are all valid, I ask that you provide edit summaries. For more on how to enter an edit summary, please read Help:Edit summary.

Incidentally, it is not just me that appreciate having edit summaries. When you omit your summary, you may be telling various bots that you are vandalizing pages. For this reason, please consider providing that summary. It is very important. You can enter that summary via the edit summary box on edit pages (as shown below).

The edit summary appears in black italics in the following places: * Use the enhanced watchlist to see all recent changes in the watched pages, not just the last change in each page.

Linkin Park leak[edit]

Why would you remove that it was leaked?Chris Nelson 16:14, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I like what you said about the album on the discussion of LP's new MTM. I miss talking with people that like LP and I don't like to hang out in forums that much. Add me if you want and if you have MSNmessenger: [email protected]. Cheers.Tonich03 04:25, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't remove that it was leaked, I moved the mention to a separate section, not that this isn't apparent already seeing as how I'm commenting on the question almost a month later! R-Tiztik 23:19, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

MM.com[edit]

Sine the talk page for Marilyn Manson (band) is a bit deserted at the moment, I decided to ask your opinion: I've been thinking about doing a separate article about the official Manson website, I just don't really know if the subject is notable enough or is it a good idea at all. GoldengloveContribs ·Talk 10:50, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

About editing MMCOM - of course you can edit it. GoldengloveContribs ·Talk 15:17, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article about the website is near-finished (there are a few images to upload, it'll be the last thing to do, I think), but I didn't find any info about the MA-era website. Have you seen it for yourself (I didn't)? GoldengloveContribs ·Talk 18:23, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

O.K., I've "launched it" marilynmanson.com and created a link from the band page. Thank you very much for your help and suggestions. GoldengloveContribs ·Talk 13:45, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why?[edit]

...must you keep moving comments and changing indenting on talk pages? (in particular Talk:Minutes to Midnight (album). It makes tracking discussions virtually impossible when stuff is getting moved, and all sense of threading is destroyed by someone coming along and playing with it. --85.134.141.187 21:31, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Untitled[edit]

Where did the title "Untitled" come from? There's no reference and the website of Korn's indicates that the album is Untitled, but not that its title is actually that name. --lincalinca 06:45, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's Time to See Religion Die[edit]

Is the album out yet? I tried looking for reviews on AllMusicGuide.com, but nothing popped up. And now, the article here on Wikipedia is saying that the album hasn't even been released yet? This is strange, I thought that it was confirmed for a 7/7/07 release. Do you know anything about this, seeing as you are the last person to update that page? Dark Executioner 01:40, 8 July 2007 (UTC)Dark Executioner[reply]

Thanks for the tip! By the way, is your user name a spinoff of the word "artistic?" Hmmm... In your own humbler opinion, do you think that this album is even worth checking out?

Hey man, I haven't been able to get on the computer the past couple of days. Summer school. You should go and check www.kornunleashed.net. They've been talking about Head a lot lately. Write me back and let me know if we can put any of that stuff in his article. Bye!

Discussion topics[edit]

Dear Rtiztik,

I was hoping that you and I could become pals. I have some questions for you:

Are you a fan of:

(These are just a few of my favorite bands; visit my user page!

How do you put images onto Wikipedia? A bunch of album covers are missing from the Black Sabbath page.

And... Are you a fan of The Sopranos? Let me know, and I appreciate any help on the images advice! Dark Executioner 20:57, 9 July 2007 (UTC)Dark Executioner[reply]

This are my last things to talk to you about today: What concerts have you been to? I've seen (in chronological order) Velvet Revolver, NOFX, Slayer (the Unholy Alliance Tour), Rob Zombie w/ Shinedown & Godsmack, Black Label Society w/ Sanctity, and on August 11th, 2007, when they come to my hometown of Atlanta, GA, Korn on the Family Values Tour.
You're 16, dude? I was born in November 1989! Most of the kids my age, who even listen to rock music, only care about mainstream bands like Three Days Grace, Fall Out Boy, 30 SEconds To Mars and the like. Yeah, most of the kids at my high school are either the "gangsta"-type African-Americans who listen to rap, or Hispanics that listen to Hispanic music. Not saying that there's anything wrong with that; to each his/her own. But I'd like to find more people who share my interests, like you.
Oh, thanks for helping me with images! I'll try and restore some Black Sabbath album covers and more tomorrow.
Nice selection in music, dude! I didn't know you were one of the guys who operated WikiManson or whatever (I didn't even know that existed!) Marilyn Manson's music is great if you're in an industrial mood, but I'm more of a thrash/death metal fan. Personally, I prefer his older albums to Eat Me, Drink Me, but I'm glad that he's finally making music again!
Dark Executioner 21:50, 9 July 2007 (UTC)Dark Executioner[reply]

You've heard of Sepultura, right? Their original drummer, Igor Cavalera, is currently drumming for Necro. I'm kinda worried about Sepultura, though... Even though guitarist Andreas Kisser has been with the band for 20 years (and I pretty much consider him an "original" member), bassist Paulo Pinto is the sole-remaining member of the band. Kind of like Tony Iommi was Sab's only original member throughout the years. Singer Derrick Green is OK, but I don't think he's as good of a singer/screamer as max Cavalera was. And now, Sepultura has brought in Jean Dollabella on drums; he's from some alt-rock/post-grunge Brazilian band called Udora. Who knows, though; maybe their upcoming album will be a pleasant surprise for longtime fans (such as myself).

That really does suck that you've never been to a concert... Once you start, it's like a drug, you just can't stop!!!

Talk to you again soon, dude! Slayer can be our next discussion if you like. Dark Executioner 19:06, 10 July 2007 (UTC)Dark Executioner[reply]

Wassup man! Have you heard about Rob Zombie's latest musical approach? He's going to guest-star on Three Six Mafia's upcoming release. I find that odd, in that he's the only metal guest artist and all the rest are rap, but in a way not so odd, since that rap group is "Satanic."
By the way, the comment in It's Time To See Religion Die ("You got shit with me, bro?") was something that an unsigned user did, not me. Since we haven't spoke in a few days, I was just clarifying that.

Counter-Racism/"End of the World"[edit]

Y'know, at least where I live (ATL, GA), counter-racism is very strong, as is plain-old racism. It seems that EVERY non-White race out there is blaming all of their inconvieniences and problems on people like me. Whites who have never done anything to these people (in the past couple of decades, at least). We've even cleared out our wooded areas to make new houses and places to work; they filled these. I thought that it would be a positive contribution to our community. I'm all for racial unification.

But here comes hip-hop with counter-racist songs (take Kanye West's "George Bush Don't Like Black People" and, not sure who it's by, "White Man Down" to stir up unnessicary and damaging counter-racism. Dude, when I was 12, I got mugged, black eye and all, because I walked through a little gathering of black people in my middle school. I kid you not.

Now let's discuss illegal aliens. These people are incredibly common in my community as well. Throughout America's history, we've always been open towards immigrants. Hell, that's how my great-great-grandparents got here: they were German peasants, escaping that country just as the Nazi movement was taking shape. Jews, Germans, Irish, Italian, Polish, Russian... What do all of these past immigrant waves have in common? For the most part, THEY WERE LEGAL CITIZENS. I have no problem with Hispanic people, especially if they abide by America's set rules for becoming legal citizens. I think that it's incredibly wrong what the illegal immigrants are doing: stealing jobs and houses, escaping taxes and taking our currency into their country and coming back loaded. There's just something wrong with that.

Basically, it's Black/Hispanic/Asian/Bosnian/anyone else you can think of... versus White. What the Hell did I ever do? Why does my life, and the lives of so many others, have to be basically persecuted?

Some might say that the end of the world will be caused by "the wrath of God." Not in my opinion. If things keep going the way that they are, we will be. I don't like to be negative and critical of others, but this counter-racist movement has to stop. Dark Executioner 19:17, 11 July 2007 (UTC)Dark Executioner[reply]

Korn's Untitled Leak[edit]

So, how is it? Dark Executioner 22:20, 21 July 2007 (UTC)Dark Executioner[reply]

Poppy, huh? I didn't think what I heard of the album was NEARLY as poppy as SYOTOS. Plus, didn't Jon Davis himself say that Atticus Ross gave the songs a more "gothic" sound? Either I heard wrong or Jon flat out lied about what the album sounds like. "Evolution" sounds pretty gothic to me, as does "I Will Protect You." Hm... I'll still go and buy the album.
P.S. Compared to some of the other bands I listen to, such as Slayer, Dying Fetus and Cannibal Corpse, Korn can sound pretty weak in comparison. But I don't compare Korn to those guys because they're a completely different style of heavy metal.
As far as the Korn reunion goes, I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you. If they ever do, though... How will they work the SYOTOS and Untitled songs? Would they do what Black Sabbath did (Ozzy sings only material from 1970-1978) and play only Korn-Take a Look in the Mirror material, or have Head learn the rhythm guitar parts that Munky played on the album? Heh, it's a neat thing to think about, but we'll just have to see what happens.
BTW, thanks for posting on my discussion page again, man!

Reverted edits[edit]

Please don't revert my edits without explaining why on the talk page. I reworded an awkward (and not to mention grammatically messy) sentence, removed a redundant wiki link, and took out a sentence segment that was worded badly and read like an advertisement (see WP:NOT). Also, I think both possible meanings (or none at all) of the album title should be displayed at the top of the article, unless there has been some confirmation of the intended meaning. Thank you. Hotdoglives 10:12, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you look at the article history and are still unable to see the grammatical errors I fixed, I would be happy to point them out for you. AFI was linked to in both the first and second paragraph. You generally only need to link to another article once. I also added Puget and Havok's wikified names to the top paragraph, since they are mentioned elsewhere in the article, but by last name only and without being linked.
As for the Hot Topic sentence, I mainly removed the information because it was also a grammatical mess (with bad wiki links), but I also didn't think it was of great encyclopedic value that 15 people will get a fucking button. And "exclusive art" is too vague. Are they being given exclusive art, or just getting to look at it, and what is it anyways? If the Stiff Kittens single is a Hot Topic exclusive, then it should certainly be included in the article, but there was no clarification on the subject. Not to mention, citation was not provided.
As for the double meaning of the album name, it is a matter of opinion until otherwise noted. It's clearly meant to be a double entendre (as the original album by Cex also certainly was). I think "Sex Cells" is just as valid of an interpretation as "Sex Sells". Otherwise, what would be the point in spelling it with C's in the first place? Hotdoglives 22:29, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

SFU and Hey![edit]

It's been forever, but I know that you and I go way back. Listen dude, I've placed a peer review notice on Six Feet Under's talk page asking people for their input on what can be done to make the page better. I don't know if you like them, but I do know that you've edited Cannibal Corpse material in the past, so I was just wondering if you were interested in helping me out. What I need help with most right now is adding sources. There are 6 really good ones, but apparently they're not enough. If you can help... please do so! (Live at Riviera)[edit]

iTunes Deluxe Edition:

  1. "Down With the Sickness (Live at Riviera)"
  2. "Just Stop (Live at Riviera)"
  3. "Stricken (Live at Riviera)"
  4. "Stupify (Live at Riviera)"

The tracks should be kept with the quotation marks after the (Live at Riviera), because the names of the tracks are not simply "Down with the Sickness", etc, etc, they are "Down With The Sickness (Live at Riviera)" and I think we should put quotations around the entire song name. Hi, I noticed you have "moved" the content of the above page to a new title (Bleed the Sky (album)) by copy&paste method. This wasn't the correct way! Please see WP:MOVE where it says:

Do not move or rename a page by copying/pasting its content, because doing so destroys the edit history. (The GFDL requires acknowledgement of all contributors, and editors continue to hold copyright on their contributions unless they specifically give up this right. Hence it is required that edit histories be preserved for all major contributions until the normal copyright expires.)

I've fixed the histories of these two pages for you. Please be more careful next time. :) Best regards, --PeaceNT (talk) 11:53, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Death Magnetic[edit]

So you don't think "Death Magnetic - Coming September 2008" warrants a "possibly titled" mention on the album's article? Superior1 (talk) 23:24, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

With this screenshot. http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q107/Superior010/missionmetallica.jpg?t=1213488095 Superior1 (talk) 00:01, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your corrections[edit]

I apprieciate your effort in the article. But you generated a few blunders there. First, in the header you now repeat information about the eleventh song. This is not appropriate for the header, and rather a complimentary for a section. Second, you misinterpreted the Experience 1 thing, which is only stuff from the "M:M" website, and no album, in any case. Please, correct this one back – to the last referenced version (from the "M:M" official info) by yours truly. If you don't like the style, I'd be glad to discuss it. Regards. --Kochas (talk) 20:25, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't want to edit war, so I'll contact you directly. I am not seeing how the link is helping- as already explained, links should be to how the name/phrase/whatever is being used in context, so a link to the article as a whole is inappropriate, but I also believe that a link to the covers section adds nothing- it doesn't say anything that this article doesn't, and never will- it's basically just an entry in a list. Furthermore, the article on the song is already linked earlier in this article. J Milburn (talk) 19:13, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I definitely agree that a mention of the cover is appropriate for the article on the original version, I am just saying that a link to the article within the track listing, at best, adds nothing to the article, and at worst is misleading. J Milburn (talk) 13:18, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, you misunderstand. It's misleading because if you click a link in a tracklisting, you expect to be taken to an article about that song, not an article about that song performed by someone else. As such, people clicking the link will be taken to an article that they were not expecting. J Milburn (talk) 12:57, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Numbers[edit]

Well, in all my time being a fan I never heard of the former members having numbers, but I'll admit I don't know a ton about their early days. I think that having the numbers in the personel section probably confuses people enough without having muliple guys listed as the same number. I could leave a messege with Rezter, since he has quite a large collection. Hopefully he'll have an old magazine or something that can clarify when the numbers were first used, since neither of us really has solid proof whether they were or weren't used by the guys who left. Does that sound alright? Blackngold29 03:50, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, one more thing. Even if the old members did use numbers, he is not credited as #4 on the album (he's not even credited at all). So that would probably be pretty strong evidence to leave it out. Blackngold29 03:51, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I don't think there's anything that they do that isn't confusing on some level. They were a drastically different band in the early days, I'm sure some people wouldn't beleive it's the same band on MFKR. That's a good point about their own articles, not many former members have a large amount of info about them out there; we were just discussing possibly merging all the former members into one article. I'll try to remember that when we get there. Blackngold29 04:24, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cool, we started with the albums (Vol. 3 is a GAN now, I think we're gonna do MFKR next); I haven't paid much attention to the members articles, but from what I've seen most of them are lacking. But if you're going through them that should be a big help. On one hand it helps they've kept the same line-up for so long, but nine guys is a lot of stuff to write. Blackngold29 04:44, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I wouldn't think equiptment is notable, but I haven't done any musicians articles. I don't know if WP:WPBIO has a musician's section, maybe you could check there? And a word about the genre's, just make sure you have a reliable source before changing anything. As I'm sure you already know Slipknot could fall under about 8000 genres with one song or another. Blackngold29 23:48, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Question: You seem to be adding additional "credits" to albums (example). Where are you getting this info? It isn't really necessary, and isn't part of WP:ALBUM's criteria. The personel sections appear as they do in the album booklets, but Vol. 3's booklet says nothing about Crahan's lyrics. Blackngold29 23:58, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't doubt that they did it, but you need to cite a reliable source that says it was them. Blackngold29 00:10, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

MFKR1 is generally not regarded as an reliable source. It is affiliated with the band in no way. I think Rezter is working on the MFKR article now, so I was kind of waiting to see what he comes up with. I was talking more about the Crahan lyrics in Vol. 3, it could be him, but Slipknot vocals have been mistaken before, so a reliable source is need for that. Blackngold29 00:28, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I wouldn't go too far to find a source. Like I said, I personally think its too specific and overkill; but, if you want it there then fine. Blackngold29 05:14, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Images[edit]

OK I noticed you added photos to all the Slipknot members profiles. Here are the photos I'm talking about:

On all of them you have stated that your source is Opiumofthepeople.net and then in the author section you stated that you are the author and you are releasing them under a free license. Only the original copyright holder of those photographs can publish then under any license and as you are clearly not the author of one (never mind all) of those images Wikipedia can not use those images, I just thought I'd drop a line here to tell you instead of jsut sticking deletion templates on those pages, I think you should try and remove the images. You may however upload images which are already released under a free license or if you have the consent from the copyright holder. See Wikipedia:Image use policy and Wikipedia:Non-free content#Images. REZTER TALK ø 19:22, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No you misunderstand, every photograph ever taken is copyrighted, if I take a photo of a chair (for example) I am the copyright holder of the picture, they don't need to be professional photos to be copyrighted. The Joey photograph was transferred from another wikipedia which most probably had been uploaded by the copyright holder or with the copyright holders permission. I know the Wikipedia would benefit from photos and I support that but we CANNOT upload images without the owners permission. REZTER TALK ø 20:06, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Page moves[edit]

Hi. I only just became aware that you moved Head (band) to Head (British band) back in June. Unfortunately you did not fix any of the bad redirects this move created. I have done what I can to repair the damage, but the next time you want to move a page, it would be better to get consensus on the talk page first, and then make sure to fix redirects. If you are not sure how to do this, ask someone else to help. Best wishes, --John (talk) 16:01, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Brian Head Welch[edit]

I told you that I have audio proof that Brian Welch's solo work goes under the moniker of 'Brian Head Welch.' Not to mention if you look at his stuff on Amazon or iTunes, it's not labaled "Head" as the artist, but "Brian Head Welch." By labeling it just Head, we are going about giving false information. dude527 (talk) 18:08, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"The project may have been simply "Head" before, but in a radio interview yesterday, he said it's now "Brian Head Welch," because he was under pressure of being sued if he used "Head." Look at the official solo project's MySpace, www.myspace.com/brianheadwelch and look at the official website of the solo project brianheadwelch.net. Also, look at the song Flush on iTunes; it says "Song: Flush, Artist: Brian Head Welch, Album :Flush - Single . . ." And on Amazon, it said the artist was Brian Head Welch, too. Even if Head WAS the correct moniker, we'd be saying it wrong; Head is not a band, it's a person who's hired some other musicians for certain songs. We need to fix this page up so that it's accurate, I have AUDIO PROOF that he's going under "BRIAN HEAD WELCH," and not simply "HEAD" now. AUDIO PROOF. If anybody wants that proof, I'll provide it, but this article badly needs to change to more correctly represent Brian Welch's solo project, Brian Head Welch."
I said that on Head's talk page. Now I'm going to move it back to Brian Head Welch (musician). Want to know why? BECAUSE HEAD IS NOT THE CORRECT MONIKER. He's said it himself. Here, I'll link you. It's towards the end of the recording, if you want the rest of the show, tell me. I'm telling you, this is the correct moniker, Head is not. dude527 (talk) 18:33, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmm.... Think you could upload that audio snippet? I have no idea how to upload in that format, so either I figure it out, or you do it. lol. dude527 (talk) 21:17, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Heh[edit]

I ordered the "Flush" single from Driven last week, and they had a shipping error, giving me 4 signed copies for the price of one. What an awesome error! Four signatures from HEAD and one unsigned copy! Might be good for eBay in years to come. --The Guy complain edits 04:44, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What were the dozen demos that leaked? I only have 8 -- 10 if we're counting multiples; 2 demos of "A Cheap Name," "Confused," "Dream," "Illusion of Happiness," "Kry," "A Letter to Dimebag," "Please Forgive Me," and "Where is God?" If there's other, I would sure love to hear them, I love all his works. Also, you can't just go on Driven Music Group's store and get a copy of the single? Come September 9, I'll have a signed copy of Save Me from Myself, possibly sooner. I have it in good with one of HEAD's personal friends, (You can see him in the credits section of "Flush," his name is Alonso Murillo.) and in turn, Head. He might be able to hook me up soon. I'm psyched. --The Guy complain edits 06:31, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You should link me to that live version of "A Letter to Dimebag." I agree that the session demos sound different from the final project, but that could be because of the change of management around HEAD. He went from completely Christian management, to level-headed management, which is fine. I, myself being a Christian, really would've loved some heavy rock songs praising God to worship to, but I like the music anyways. So far, "Money" sounds like the best song on the album, though, from the 6 tracks I have. --The Guy complain edits 07:03, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I find the live recording better, too, seems more wholesome and complete. I would say in favor of samples, my order goes thusly: "Money," "Die Religion Die," "Save Me from Myself," "Re-Bel," then "Loyalty." I honestly don't like the song "Kry" the most, I really like "A Cheap Name," though. Also, I agree that Christianity generates hypocrisy. Which is why being a Christian is not a religion. Catholicism is being in a religion, but being a Christian, is not. Be sure to get that straight. That's just my general consensus among my church, though. "Religion is in a building, Christ is in the heart." --The Guy complain edits 07:45, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dead Memories[edit]

I would recommend finding some sources and fast, man. --The Guy complain edits 06:23, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well I noticed you (maybe it was you, I don't remember) added it to the single list on the album. --The Guy complain edits 06:27, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hahah well you left me a contribution. I treat my contribution list as my e-penis :) Just kidding hahah. --The Guy complain edits 06:34, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A Cheap Name[edit]

Here's the final version of A Cheap Name: It's ended up making the cut for "Save Me from Myself," under the title "Home." --The Guy complain edits 23:04, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The CD has indeed leaked, but only 2 or 3 people got it before HEAD caught it and closed the site down, me being one of the people. Us 3 or 4 won't leak the album before the release, though, but I can tell you, you won't be disappointed. I can also give you a couple songs if you promise not to leak them, too. --The Guy complain edits 23:47, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Here is a YouTube user who has the songs "Save Me from Myself," "Adonai," and "Washed by Blood" on his profile, full versions. I'd recommend any of the three. --The Guy complain edits 23:49, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ha ha ha oops I got myself in trouble in sharing that with you. --The Guy complain edits 02:48, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I got a carefully worded message from one of HEAD's staff... :S It's a good album, though. If you want samples of every song (30 seconds each), go here. --The Guy complain edits 02:56, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sure when the album comes out, a few reviews or something will say something about Home being A Cheap Name. I,.quite frankly, am still in shock at how good this album is. --The Guy complain edits 16:33, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You're right, none of the other demos made it onto the album, but he says he's already starting another, and planning a third. --The Guy complain edits 20:33, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
A lot of the work is already done. For example: Josh Freese doesn't drum in every song on the album (I don't think he does, I've heard he doesn't somewhere), but HEAD's already recorded and finished 22 songs with Josh. --The Guy complain edits 20:48, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I like to say that when Head left Korn, he did indeed take the sound. Whereas Korn completely rebuilt their sound, Head took the same sound, but he added a lot more atmosphere to it. It's like Korn's atmosphere in Untitled, but its completely nostalgic and reminiscent of Korn's old sound. Something that's also very interesting is that, you're right. Head did completely compose his own music by himself, he wrote the parts for every instrument as you said. It was truly solo work, with just some guest stars. The interesting part, is that Korn hasn't written a song completely by themselves since Take a Look in the Mirror. They hired all these professional songwriters to help them, and they literally haven't written, even just one song completely by themselves since Head's departure; there was always some professional helping them write the parts. Another thing that I found interesting is that Jonathan Davis composed almost all of the guitar riffs for Untitled. Literally, one or two riffs Munky did by himself. It proves that the two major influences in Korn were Jonathan and Head, and the fact that Jonathan and Head's solo projects sound the best out of them, that further attributes. --The Guy complain edits 23:56, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't use Driven, I used this. --The Guy complain edits 22:15, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Here. --The Guy complain edits 22:54, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I just sent you a link to the CD single. --The Guy complain edits 23:18, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Album's out on Tuesday! I'm so excited! :D Oh, and you might want to archive your talk page :). --The Guy complain edits 01:02, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the Death Magnetic edit[edit]

Thanks a lot for the edit on the Death Magnetic page reflecting the leak. I know Wikipedia isn't supposed to be a news source and whatnot but, whatever. I'm listening to the album right now and I feel so fscking happy :D —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.28.87.67 (talk) 17:46, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Uroboros[edit]

Hello there! I noticed we've been doing a bit of back-and-forth on the Uroboros (album) page, and I would like to say, "Thank you," for helping me approach the page in a new way. I've seen how some of the organization was a bit flawed, and some information, now in the context of an article with a lot of prose, was tad superfluous. Thanks again, and happy editing! --Jacob Talk 20:54, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to ask under what circumstance is touring in support of an album not notable? I would say promotion for the disc has been extremely heavy, and thus crucial to full coverage of the album. --Jacob Talk 23:13, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, I can understand where you are coming from now. I suppose the section always seems a bit like clutter to me, but it's a necessary clutter. The reason I put them under the articles is because of song debuts, which could alternately be work into the "Music" section, without any mention of the tour details. Thanks for your correspondence! --Jacob Talk 23:57, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
