The reason I'm hesitant[edit]

You've probably noticed that on my userpage is listed a large number of adoptees. The last thing I want to do is to provide less help for my students than I can, and so I need to slowly increase my numbers. You may want to look at Category:Wikipedians_seeking_to_adopt_in_Adopt-a-user if you're impatient, but like I said, I'll gladly answer any questions you may have. Hi. Glad to see you're tryng to create userboxes. You create them, not with a wikitable, but by following the instructions on the link I sent you. If you want to see the source code for the boxes I've made, click [edit] at the section that says "self-created userboxes" (but don't change anthing on my userpage), and copy the code (but don't save), go to your userpage, and you can experiment there. You can change some things around (on your userpage or sandbox), and hopefully you'll be able to make a userbox yourself. Hope this helps. Tasteful links[edit]

Well I guess that was a bit misleading. Wikipedia is not censored for minors, so even if you felt the need to plaster your userspace with links to (or images containing) pornographic or otherwise "socially unacceptable" material, I doubt there would be any severe repercussions.
