Speedy deletion nomination of Chandra Courtney[edit]

A tag has been placed on Chandra Courtney requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Ms Courtney and speedy deletions[edit]

I concede that you didn't have as much time to add more content and assertions of notability as you would have liked (although it was tagged for deletion 9 hours before it was actually deleted, and you could have actually removed the tag, you were probably asleep).

The thing is, how were we supposed to know that you had more content coming? You should include the important stuff -- the assertions of notability -- from the very first edit. The analogy I've seen is of the man who goes outdoors naked, and then gets upset when he is arrested for indecent exposure. After all, he has plenty of clothes inside his house.
