Speedy deletion nomination of Parthenography[edit]

Hello Retrodelirium,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Parthenography for deletion, because it seems to be vandalism or a hoax.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Itsalleasy (talk) 20:28, 6 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Retrodelerium Hi, I'm writing in response to your deletion contest since the article has been deleted. You wrote: "Parthenography is a real neologism based on the greek root. If you would like to see what parthenography is you can look on the following web site (Redacted) and see for your self." Wikipedia is not interested in neologisms unless they receive significant coverage from reliable sources that are independent of the subject. Existence doesn't warrant inclusion. In the article, there was no establishment of the subject's notability by way of reliable sources. You do have the option of going to WP:REFUND and asking for the article to be moved into your userspace so you can work on it and beef it up with WP:reliable references. If you can find independent reliable sources referring to parthenography (and I don't mean the creator's blog), then you should consider going through articles for creation instead of trying to create a live article. You might also consider reading Your First Article. Hope that helps. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:57, 6 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
