January 2010[edit]

The full report of this case is at WP:AN3#User:Bosnipedian reported by User:Surtsicna (Result: 1 week). EdJohnston (talk) 04:55, 23 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Blocked in bad faith, by a Serb nationalist as demonstrated to be one, onWikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Bosnian_Royal_Family, bottom-page discussions. There is no proof I'm a designer's sockpuppet. Instead, Surtsicna who reported me in bad faith has a sockpuppet IconicBigBen, created today yet already warned by admin Jarkeld. He used his sockpuppet to report in bad faith all people who opposed in past few days his nationalist views on Talk:Bosnian_Royal_Family, which he, after faced with proofs on his agenda, then blanked and minor-edited so to prevent undo. He is helped by admins EdJohnston and zzuuzz who felt hurt by the well-sourced part of the article that highlights the role of England in Bosnia's recent past.

Decline reason:

None of those accusations is relevant to the fact that you are obviously the same person as User:Bosnipedian. And I don't think User:EdJohnston is even Serbian, though of course I don't know him and could be wrong about that. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 01:36, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Where did I say that EdJohnston and zzuuzz were Serbs? And why would Serbs feel hurt by the article's part which documents & references England's adverse role in Bosnia's history? You live in the US, so I don't think you did this out of love for the Queen, unless you are an English person of course. I will give you a benefit of doubt though, that it's more likely that you didn't understand what I wrote. In any case, I request that my request for unblock be decided by at least two Catholic senior administrators, who shall not be Anglo-Saxons i.e. not English or American or Canadian or Australian persons. English Wikipedia cannot be called "open for everyone to edit" until I am granted such a fair review. Otherwise it will become known as "open for every Anglo to edit." Finally, there are no proofs whatsoever that I am a "sockpuppet" of the designer of the article, and no one has bothered to furnish such a proof yet.

Decline reason:

In response to your question: You said that you were blocked in bad faith by a Serb nationalist. The person who blocked you was User:EdJohnston. As far as I know, he isn't a Serb nationalist. Wikipedia doesn't keep track of users by religion or ethnicity (how could we?), nor is there any such thing as a 'senior administrator,' so your request will be reviewed, as all unblock requests are, by whatever administrator happens to be looking at the unblock queue tonight and feels like comparing your edits with those of User:Bonsipedian to see if they appear to be made by the same person. I'm not even sure what an "Anglo" is; remember that Wikipedia is truly international, and the nationalist conflicts that seem so important to you don't really mean anything to people who aren't involved in them. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 02:04, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
