Speedy deletion of Jessica Kleekamp[edit]

A tag has been placed on Jessica Kleekamp requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Delicious carbuncle (talk) 06:16, 30 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Jeremy Heilman[edit]

I have nominated Jeremy Heilman, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jeremy Heilman. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Delicious carbuncle (talk) 06:21, 30 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

American Idol[edit]

It was decided to have fixed widths on the page, so please discuss it on the talk page before you remove it. Thanks. –Turian (talk) 01:24, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads up, but I'm only seeing a discussion on cell widths for the elimination table rather than song selections. The fixed widths throw off the whole page layout. Rburton66 (talk) 01:35, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Costume Designers Guild Award for Excellence in Fantasy Film has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No independent reliable sources provided; none found. Nothing indicates this award is notable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Just wanted to let you know, as a courtesy, that I have revised your edit at the Mercury Prize. It pretty much destroyed most of a featured list and made it much much worse. After I've finished updating it, I'll move on to other such lists that you may have modified in such a fashion. Cheers. The Rambling Man (Hands! Face! Space!!!!) 23:31, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Feel free to take this to the article's talk page. This is standard with formatting of other awards pages. Cheers. Rburton66 (talk) 23:39, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

No, it's standard format with poorly formatted pages. I know. And in case you missed it, this is a featured list which was reviewed by the community, not just something you decided to mangle into a crap format. Please don't do it again. The Rambling Man (Hands! Face! Space!!!!) 23:50, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You seem great. Thanks for the courtesy. Rburton66 (talk)

Shambala (film) moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Shambala (film), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
