Hi Quentin Smith/Archive 1, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for your contributions to the coolest online encyclopedia I know of =). I sure hope you stick around; we're always in need of more people to create new articles and improve the ones we already have. Here are a few suggestions you might find useful:

Again, welcome! It's great to have you. Happy editing! --Spangineer (háblame) 11:45, 18 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Shdw Main Page[edit]

I don't know what the idea of a "shadow main page" is, but such an article is clearly useless. Why would anyone want to edit the contents of the main page in a different article? I have speedy deleted it. JIP | Talk 11:53, 18 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to add to that, that you recreated a page that was already deleted by a sysop, and that you called the responsible sysop silly. May I point out to you that Wikipedia is, according to the 5 pillars only for articles and that, according to WP:CSD, deleted pages are not to be recreated. Please take the time to read the Wikipedia guidelines and don't insult others please. -- SoothingR 11:56, 18 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
You were obviously addressing 4836.03, not me, right? JIP | Talk 11:58, 18 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. -- SoothingR 12:03, 18 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

EastEnders stub[edit]

Hi - We at WP:WSS note you've recently created a new stub category. Did you realise that stub categories should normally be cleared by Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting before creation? That way they can be vetted to check that there are currently a viable number of stubs (at least 60) and that the category does not cross the existing stub hierarchy before the stub is created.

If you can provide any information on why the stub was created, please add a note to entry for the stub at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Discoveries giving the reason for it. In addition, if there is any Wikiproject associated with the stub add that information. Thanks. Be aware, however, that if the stub category does not soon reach a viable level of activity, it is likely to be nominated for deletion at WP:SFD.

In the case of this stub, its name did not conform to current stub naming guidelines, and as such it has been changed to EastEnders-stub (the previous name is on WP:SFD). Grutness...wha? 05:52, 29 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

categories[edit]

I have taken the liberty of deleting Category:User 4836.03 and Category:SHDW because they are both totally non-standard. (You will no doubt be able to find at least one category associated with a particular user but it will be a special-case exception.) To keep track of your edits, Wikipedia provides Special:contributions/4836.03 (visible to anyone) and Special:Watchlist (private to yourself).

I note that you placed User:4836.03/Shadow page into both categories. This is also a non-standard practise - just put an article into the lowest appropriate branch of the "category tree".

I suggest that you mark template:shdw with {{db|no longer needed}} to get rid of it. -- RHaworth 01:12, 2 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Featured article for December 25th[edit]

I noticed you have listed yourself in Category:Atheist Wikipedians. That said, you will probably be interested in my suggested featured article for December 25th: Omnipotence paradox. The other suggestion being supported by others for that date is Christmas, although Raul654 has historically been against featuring articles on the same day as their anniversary/holiday. — BRIAN0918 • 2005-11-28 08:01

Do you go to my school?[edit]

I have a feeling you go to the same school as me? I only think this because you have our awful usernaming system, I'm 4475.01. :D Ian13 18:22, 4 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
