I have sent you a note about a page you started[edit]

Hello, Pshegs

Thank you for creating Kafayat Oyetola.

User:Doomsdayer520, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

Thank you for your new article on Kafayat Oyetola, but note that other editors have raised concerns. Most important is the matter of how the article looks like an advertisement for one of Ms. Oyetola's initiatives, and I would add that she probably has many other initiatives going on as well. Please consider developing the article further. For pointers, follow the links in the notice at the top of the page.

To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Doomsdayer520}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ .

Draft:CKay concern[edit]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:CKay, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:26, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:CKay[edit]

Hello, Pshegs. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "CKay".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! TheImaCow (talk) 16:54, 21 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Yahya. Its okay. I created the picture myself. Pshegs (talk) 15:02, 13 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Akinlolu jekins, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 2A01:4C8:58:C7F5:D847:7BA5:279F:46FE (talk) 10:49, 17 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I find it interesting you use the term 'repeatedly creating'. I created the page for the first time yesterday. Further more, may exact reasons why this page was deleted be provided besides the fact it was created previously? Pshegs (talk) 06:47, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

AFD[edit]

Hello, Pshegs,

I'm wondering why you went to the trouble of going to Deletion review to get an AFD relisted and then you haven't even participated in the deletion discussion. Strange. Liz Read! Talk! 07:22, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Good day, I will participate today. Made some updates to the page. Thanks for this notice. Pshegs (talk) 07:27, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello Pshegs! While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. /wiae /tlk 12:55, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for this. I am particular about not obliterating information but correcting it. This is why it is open to all. You tail and trail my edits, and I have zero issues with it, however, if there are areas to update, please do. Obliterating information defeats the purpose here.
Appreciative again for this, thank you. Pshegs (talk) 00:05, 5 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
