George Bush Int.[edit]

1. the info given isnt provable. it 2. it has no true reference. 3. what does LAX have to do with the IAH site? 4. it doesn't "flow" with the page, comE on a title like "Terorist Plot?" with a question marck. so, don't just keep reverting, go to the DISCUSSION page for all of us to discuss. Is 67.119.194.1 your IP Address?[edit]

I just saw in the history section of Jimmy Wales that 67.119.194.1 was appearing the most. Is that your IP when you're not logged in? --Pronoun 21:01, 11 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That's really funny. No, of course that is not me. That is the ip number of a banned user who has been harassing me.--Jimbo Wales 21:37, 11 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not move articles by cutting and pasting the contents. If you want to change the title of an article please follow the policies and procedures outlined at Wikipedia:How to rename (move) a page. Thank you. Gamaliel 17:39, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bitburg[edit]

In the article about Bitburg you wrote that Spangdahlem Air Base will be closed in 2008. I'm from Bitburg. Some peopüle think that the Air BAse will be closed during the next 20 years, but that is not sure. I remember an article in our local press where a men of the american Department of defence said that the airbase is very important for america. At the moment, the airbase is beeing expanded because the "Rhein Main Aibase" was closed and many americans from the housing of Bitburg are moving tho Spangdahlem Air base. This housing will be closed most probably until 2008 but as far as I know this is not yet official. --Oliver Tölkes 16:38, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I never said SAB would close, I said the housing in Bitburg and the inactive air base would close. Pronoun 22:02, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

But Bitburg Air Base has already been closed in 1994. --Oliver Tölkes 13:44, 23 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Then it's the housing and work area. I know the Herald-Post said Bitburg was closing by 2008. Pronoun 16:55, 23 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Transatlantic aircraft terrorist plot[edit]

So you know, it's bad practice to give articles a name using a specific dating system or spelling variation as August 10, 2006 alleged transatlantic aircraft terrorist plot. In that case you have used an American date style for an article primarily about a British event and using British dating and spelling. violet/riga (t) 22:29, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

So sorry, I have gotten used to using that style as to overlook what others use for dating. It won't happen again. Pronoun 14:10, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

S-protect template on your userpage[edit]

I'm letting you know that I removed the s-protection tag on your userpage. Adding the tag does not make it protected from editing by IP addresses or new accounts. The right to protect something comes with adminship or a proper request, so I suggest you take it there if you want real protection. People frown upon deception like this, so please don't readd it.. — The Future 22:23, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, that kind of joke isn't sorta not funny, sorry. :\ Just don't play that joke anymore :) Cheers! — The Future 01:41, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. You may or may not remember this, but some time ago you signed up for a Hangman Tournament hosted here on Wikipedia. The next tournament is about to start, and I was just wondering if you were still interested in participating. If you are, please go to the page (linked above) and bold your name in the sign-up list. This will confirm your registration. If you are not interested any more, please feel free to remove your name from the list. If you haven't responded within 7 days, I will assume you are not interested, and remove you from the list.

If you think anyone else may be interested in this tournament, please drop them a note and ask them to sign up. Good luck, and I hope to see you at the tournament! If you have any questions, please contact me at my talk page. Ian Manka Talk to me! 13:42, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

USA PATRIOT Act[edit]

Why did you move this? Is there more than one USA PATRIOT Act? olderwiser 20:29, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH........
It's more specific sincee that WOULD be the title as it was passed in 2001 making it the USA PATRIOT Act of 2001!
Pronoun 20:43, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Except that is not the most common name for it. The of 2001 would only really be necessary if there were more than one. olderwiser 22:10, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I also see that you have that "You have new messages (last change)" thing on the top of your Userpage. I've try'd 4 different times to get it on my Userpage, but they all failed. every single time i try, somthing like this shows on my Userpage: You have new messages (last change). Can you help me with that by typing in the code for it on the top of my Userpage for me? If so, thanks!Qmwnebrvtcyxuz 23:21, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding the SpongeBob WikiProject[edit]

Attention, member of Wikiproject SpongeBob SquarePants. This project is up for deletion at this page. ForestH2 has become a sockpuppeter and is being blocked from Wikipedia. So, he will most likely not return. (along with his sockpuppets.) The board of the project has been very controversal. I am removing the board (as it is contoversal and wont really matter) as a result. This project can improve if it can undergo clean-up (which i am in the process of) But, most of all, it needs to be kept. So, I hope you can support this project from its time of inactivity and save it from deletion, then we can continue to improve SpongeBob SquarePants articles. I would hope that you would support with me, but please voice your opinion by clicking here: Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:Wikiproject SpongeBob SquarePants. Thank-you. -AMK152 17:06, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WP:WHMT[edit]

Hello, Pronoun. You may or may not remember signing up for the Wikipedia Hangman Tournament, but the time has finally arrived for you to start your game! You have until 01:58, 18 May 2024 (UTC) to begin your game by typing {{Wikipedia:WikiHangman Tournament/New|~~~~}} on the corresponding round page. You should also visit your match page, as you will be able to see various aspects of your match.

I would also suggest:

If you have any questions at all regarding the procedures and rules of this tournament, please feel free to contact me at my talk page. Thanks again, and good luck!

In case you are wondering why it took so long to begin this tournament, my computer was not operating correctly, and my Internet usage was limited to public computers. My opportunities to use public computers were limited, so needless to say, I didn't have a lot of time to commit to Wikipedia. So, sorry if this has caused you any inconvience. Good luck! If you have any questions, please contact me at my talk page. Ian Manka 02:24, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

??? What's happened to our hangman game?

Hello! I saw that you moved the article formerly known as List of converts to Islam to a new location. I am not too convinced, thgough. I find the new title ambiguous, because it could be understood as a list of people who were previously Muslims and then converted. Besides, the other title format is used for List of converts to Judaism, List of converts to Christianity, and List of converts to Hinduism. What is your rationale for the move? Best regards Mrbluesky 22:26, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I think we both agree, and I guess the page should be given its former name back. BTW, beware, your page has just been vandalized. Regards Mrbluesky 19:04, 9 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Closure dates for German bases[edit]

You list closure dates on this list that haven't been announced yet. From previous discussions on your talk page, it looks like you're adding in whatever tentative clusure plans happen to hit the Kaiserslautern newspaper this week. Until closure announcements are officially announced (i.e., ordered by the Secretary of the Army, briefed to the local Lord Mayor and Works Council, and released in an official press release), all of this is just conjecture. Additionally, it may get local nationals to believe that they are entitled to Reduction In Force (RIF) protection when they might not be. I'm deleting the dates that haven't been announced, and please don't restore them unless you have an official source. Hzoi 11:34, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

MfD nomination of MediaWiki talk:Red link[edit]

MediaWiki talk:Red link, a page you created, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/MediaWiki talk:Red link and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of MediaWiki talk:Red link during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. A tag has been placed on Template:User Wikimedia Commons requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion because it is an unused duplicate of another template, or a hard-coded instance of another template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is not actually the same as the other template noted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page explaining how this one is different so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{substituted}}</noinclude>).

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page's talk page, where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. —Skyllfully (talk | contribs) 02:48, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
