The file File:JoJo Siwa CBS 2023 284x352.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:DECORATIVE non-free use in JoJo Siwa#Other ventures which fails WP:NFCC#1 and WP:NFCC#8. Despite the claim made in the non-free use rationale provided for this use, the single sentence about Siwa'a performance in the CBS Dick Van Dyke special doesn't require seeing this screenshot to be understood; so, the simple text description of the performance is more than sufficient per WP:FREER. Moreover, the screenshot itself isn't really the subject of any sourced critical commentary or otherwise significant to the reader's encyclopedic understanding of the relevant article content to the extent that not seeing the screenshot would be detrimental to that understand. Similar to films, screenshots for TV shows can be used when they are related to some technical, production, thematic, design, etc. aspect of the TV show that might be receiving coverage in reliable sources for one reason or another, but generally not to simply "show" someone performing in the show or some other plot aspect. A screenshot showing Siwa dancing doesn't really need to be seen by readers to understand that Siwa performed in the show, and it's hard to see how a low-resolution still image of one moment during her performance can portray the atmosphere of that performance to the reader.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:24, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

WP:DECORATIVE non-free use in Rufus Wainwright#Work in film, television, and theatre which fails WP:NFCC#1 and WP:NFCC#8.
