Hentai Vandalism

Hey Poet, I saw you in the recent changes list for Hentai and was wondering where the right place to report consistent spamming by one user, User:Matjooo on both that article and the one about Cartoon Pornography. I don't want to fall foul of the three revert rule, but I seem to be alone in reverting the constant edits.Steve355 (talk) 20:12, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

A question on attacks

Hey Poet Gal, I had a question regarding WP:ATTACK. If a user says he doesn't have to listen to what I say because I haven't contributed "substantial, meaty and scholarly articles," can such statements be categorized as a personal attack?

Thanks for the reply. Grsztalk 03:57, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for response

Hi! Thanks for your response. That's not typical of the basic MediaWiki software... do you happen to know which extension allows for that or if it is custom code just for Wikipedia's version? I am asking all this because I run a MediaWiki server in my organization and I was surprised that you removed the history of the edits without the Oversight extension. Thanks for taking the time to respond... I appreciate it! κaτaʟavenoTC 00:44, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

Hello,

Please help me again. They've marked the Age of Conversation [The_Age_of_Conversation] book page to be deleted because it links to blogs! Bloggers wrote the book so of course it links to them...

Can you please intervene? Or give me direction on how to do this right?

I already watched all of them... but it happend in the middle of night for me. I just don't think protecting all the templates 'just to be safe' isn't the way to go; it just screams WP:BEANS. EdokterTalk 08:31, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Reg. Dravidian civilisations banner

Hello! This is about this banner that you created some time back. The Malayalam text on the picture is misspelled. Probably not your fault, but the computer that you created the image on does not have complete Indic text support. The correct spelling is: സ്വാഗതം. If it is indeed a rendering error, you might want to verify the text in the other languages too, as errors might have crept into them as well. --thunderboltz(TALK) 14:50, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

I certainly have. I am a great fan of Rumi, though from what I hear about the translations of Hafiz they aren't particularly accurate. What I've read I like though. Just wondering...

...does what I did count as 3RR? I know it doesn't count when it's reverting vandalism, does the same apply to SD? HalfShadow (talk) 00:11, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Just making sure. Since you're not allowed to delete SD warnings (unless you're an admin), technically it's a form of vandalism anyway, so I was pretty sure I was in the right, but it never hurts to see it in text. HalfShadow (talk) 00:17, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Hello. Do you mind if you state your opinions on the article? I am planning to nominate for DYK when I find a few more refs.--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 00:38, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Thank you, but I think you misunderstood the 5 days old criteria. It says it has to be "no more than five days old", which means I must nominate it before the article being at wikipedia for 5 days, in other words, I must nominate it before 5 days since it's creation. And I'm currently finding refs for the verification templates. Comments?--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 00:54, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanks. And it's OK. I'm not a master of the criteria myself. Also, I have recently started using navigation popups to revert vandals. Do you have any comments on that, like when not to use them (i.e. Rollback is not used for good faith edits)? If you have absolutly no experience with popups, that's okay too.--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 01:02, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
I see. I may have remembered that edit. It may have been when I reverted an edit, and it seems there was vandalism in the other reversion, or I think I accidentaly reverted another user's revert as I was too late to revert it myself.--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 01:11, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Well, I nominated it and it passed. I also added some images. But it's not a DYK yet, it just meets the criteria. Comments?--RyRy5 (talkReview) 22:50, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Hello Poet Gal, I have been contributing to the List of Howard University people page and noticed that User:69.141.32.41 has vandalized the page dozens of times. Just letting you know that this has been a long-time vandal. S/he has been warned many many times already on various IPs (the user seems to be using a dynamic IP ISP) since at least 2007. Wrong id on sockpuppet

Persian Poet gal, you extended the wrong user's block for sockpuppetry. The sockpuppeteer in question is User:Sumerophile. Note that "NonNationalistEditor" still needs to be blocked, as it is a sockpuppet.Til Eulenspiegel (talk) 23:47, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

No problem, but the real culprit Sumerophile has become irritating with still edit warring with all these socks, rather than wait out his block, and apparently didn't learn his lesson with an extension to one month last time. Til Eulenspiegel (talk) 23:58, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

(from 4d-don)

Persian Gal...

Could you get a ruling from a "higher" body or process, so as to get a WIKI concensus on using these three (3) SOURCES of INFORMATION as references or Sources in our article on Sahaj Marg [here]. This would bring a "conclusion" to our debates that have deteriorated to many editors, including the admin, using POV although you just target my posts. Others are also using such "personal attacks", "slander", but you and Sethie just target those on side of the debate, for "deletion" or for "erasing of the comments" even those I post in the form of "QUESTIONS" so that we may include all the FACTS in the article and not simply do a PR job and PROMOTE this "controversial" GROUP with "Sources written by members of this GROUP in "commercial RAGS" they call "credible". Reports like the ones below are call: not credible.

These sources are being used in Europe on the French WIKI [here]

And on this article on [Sahaja Yoga]

Rapport fait au Nom de la Commission d'Enquete sur les Sectes (The French report on "Sectes" of 1995)

The Interministerial Mission of Vigilance and Combat Against Sectarian Aberrations (The MIVILUDES) of the French Government, 2003) [here]

The Centre d'Information et d'Avis sur les Organizations Sectaires Nuisibles of the Belge Government, CIAOSN) [here]

I trust you are not in a "conflict" as a member of this group or a SIMILAR one and that your actions are "at arm's length" and "Neutral"?

Oops, aw crud

Well, I just submitted a completely legitimate vandalism report to WP:AIV. Problem is, it was the right case, but the wrong IP. I accidentally submitted that of the person who was reverting the vandalism. Went ahead and gave proper warning to the actual vandal, and I'm letting the case cool off, since it seems like the situation has died down. Sorry about that! I didn't intend to falsely accuse somebody. The user in question has also received an apology. - Vianello (talk) 04:38, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

"Redundant"

Hi Persian Goat Pal,

I read your essay on why vandalism is silly, and made a few copy-edits. One thing that I couldn't simply correct is your use of the word "redundant" when you seem to mean something more akin to "useless" or "ineffective".

Anyway, keep up the good work. --Slashme (talk) 14:00, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

BLP question

Dear Persian Poet Gal, Thank you for coming by the Sahaj Marg page. I'm not very clear on the WP:BLP policy, but am concerned that the following comment impugns a couple of living persons, just to cast aspersions on their characters without evidence:

"At last Chari, Uma Shankar Bajpai and 6 others have been charge sheeted for the criminal offence of tresspassing into the Ashram on 2nd June 2006. Their non-bailable warrants are being issued for the same from the lower court three days back."

Can you please let me know what you think? Renee (talk) 17:06, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the quick response. I actually thought we were doing pretty good on the article itself -- there doesn't seem to be disruptive editing -- just lots of discussion (some productive, some not) on the talk page. And, the BLP stuff is very confusing to me. I can see your point about the "recommended" line and will bring it up on the talk page. Renee (talk) 04:50, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

SAHAJ MARG CONTROVERSY

Poet Gal...

All attempts to bring forward and discuss content have met with "deleting" the content to be discussed and calling is either "soapbox", not WIKI "RULES", PRIMARY, ORIGINAL RESEARCH, etc...

[This] is the WIKI "GUIDELINES" that I am adhering to...check my bio...I have sat on many committees and have worked with many teams but if you think that "black-listing" or "threats of blacklisting" me is WIKI, to stop me from doing what I see as WIKI acceptable, go ahead an try... I have worked in "information dessimination" for years in NEWSPAPER (columns), TV (host of Talk show), and "information library on "ENVIRONMENTAL" issues and "DEVELOPMENT"... In Canada at least, we are still allowed to "discuss" in the open and I have received a MEDAL from our Governor General for service to the country and the PLANET in advancing Freedom of SPEECH for all, even for RELIGIONS and such SECTS as SRCM who would stiffle it... I want their MESSAGE out also, for all to see, but I want all information that is WIKI acceptable in the article also...I asked you and Sethie to get some broader input on some points...have you done so?

The guidelines interpretation by this "few" editors are not accurate and should be challenged by all who think that FREE SPEECH is what the INTERNET is advancing for all of us. When some (and groups, and cabals) use WIKI to PROMOTE and to MUZZLE any "controversies", then I will take on the battle, like so many others on WIKI and take on even the INDIA PROJECT of the Chamber of Commerce if I have to.

This is the "WIKI Guidelines" in the page you sent me... To discuss "CONTENT", we have to bring it forward and READ it... That is the problem... any item brought forth that is controversial is "DELETED" by some "admins" and others who are taking on the same tactic, thinking it is WIKI... that brings about a POV (of course) that is then "threatened" with BLOCKING by other Admins... ALLOW THE CONTENT TO BE DISCUSSED OPENLY AND FREELY IN THE DISCUSSION PAGE...

Focus on content, not on the other editor. Wikipedia is built upon the principle of representing views fairly, proportionately and without bias. When you find a passage in an article biased or inaccurate, improve it if you can. If that is not possible, and you disagree completely with a point of view expressed in an article, think twice before simply deleting it. Rather, balance it with your side of the story. Make sure that you provide reliable sources. Unreferenced text may be tagged or deleted - see Wikipedia:Verifiability.

UN-WIKI practices on Sahaj Marg discussion Pages

Poet gal...

For your information, I present these recent events on Sahaj Marg discussion page. This (tactic) was also done to Shashwat before me, frustrating him to the point that then got him blocked. If you read my "comments" as not "WIKI acceptable" and/or "light-hearted" then please let me know...I feel that this and the rest of the comments on the discussion page as "suggested" by Sethie are not according to WIKI guidelines for "admins", who should be more "concensual"...

This marginalizing and "isolating" of "dissenting" voices who bring forth "controversies" or differences is what is now commonly called "bullying" in our schools and which is being covered in the MEDIA daily because of the "emotional" retaliation of the "BULLIED" (just like Shashwat)... Keep this for a record of the tactics used. I trust you to be fair and "concensual"... You can read the rest of the discussion (today's May 18, 2008) on the Sahaj Marg discussion page and read the "TONE".

I hope this (last paragraph) is not too "colourful" ;-))

Thanks

4d-don

To this comment Sethie:

Well, Shashwat is gone, and 99% will be permanently banned or topic-banned (meaning he won't be able to edit this article and others). With his disruptive activities gone, things are/will be alot easier. Sethie (talk) 22:23, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

I wrote this on his [talk page] as part of another comment from him in my talk page:

Which bring me to Shashwat...

To "black-list" or "bad mouth" Shashwat, a victim of this group (SRCM-Chennai) not SAHAJ MARG, is not constructive as we also need, or could use, the input of "honorable" victims, such as Shashwat in the discussion. Although we can't allow allegations (even in court cases) and anecdotes to enter the article, the input of victims is "healing" to them and is helpful to us in writing the article. (Court JUDGEMENTS however are NPOV and should be as acceptable in a WIKI article as they are in a NEWSPAPER article, if we use "COMMON SENSE".) To black-list the VICTIMS is to victimize them again, by stopping their "story" from being believed and accepted... Victims are sometimes "emotional" but are we not all emotional at times... I would like you to remove this "blocking" of Shashwat on WIKI (99%) as a "good faith" WIKI participant, a "fellow human being", and compatriot of many in Sahaj Marg. I would like the "hearts of our children all together again"...trying to reach concensus in FAIRNESS...Shashwat is not a "vandal" and tries to be fair through his pain. His family was just negatively affected by this group... let's help him heal...

I don't know the others such as "talk-to-me" or cultfreeworld" but if they are "blocked" also, I would like to see them participate also, if only in the discussion... The article can be "protected" at any time. Black-listing is so RELIGIOUS and so DIVISIVE...that would show "good faith" to me... I do not erase other editor's "POV" (and they are there)...and I don't attempt to have some editors "blocked" forever.

I appreciate this attempt to be "concensual" and your revealing things about yourself. I will return to being "civil", try not to express my own POV so much. (as much as I can), and try to work in a "concensual" manner.

We should review what is "WIKI" acceptable and what is not...

Sethie replied:

I didn't block Shashwat, I can't unblock him. And if I could, I wouldn't. He has consistently shown an unwillingess to play within wiki parameters.

I don't know Shashwat. I just know of his activities here on Wikipedia. And they have been pretty yucky, not just by my standards, but by the communities. He has been blocked 3 times as CFW, had a sock account blocked, and has yet to find ONE experienced wikipedian who agreed with ANYTHING he has said.

Sethie (talk) 00:28, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

Then, he left this on [my talk page]:

Since his block, has Shashwat or Cult-free world contacted you and asked you to post or say certain things here on wikipedia for him? And have you done so?

Thanks, Sethie (talk) 20:13, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

To which I wrote on his [talk page]:

I know Shashwat from the Internet...this other cfw, you seem to say is also Shashwat? He has not confirmed that to me, and I don't care either way...just a name... Maybe I will ask him! Thanks...What about talk-to-me?

and later:

Shashwat...

Thank you for not "black-listing" Shashwat...For your information, I have agreed with some of the material he brought forth and tried to "re-write" and edit some other...Being wrong does not mean being EVIL (VANDAL). At first, I usually let all people expose all of their "POV's" without erasing, and then I attempt to wittle it down to a "FAIR" and "CONCENSUAL" article with all... I have never had the opportunity to "finish" as there was always another EDITOR (from another group) reverting, changing, etc... so I stood out for a while until it calmed down...When I did, the article was deleted...

It is not harder for me to deal with Shashwat or other "victims" who are sometimes "emotional" in their wanting to EXPOSE their PAIN, and express their POV in "no uncertain terms", as it is to deal with someone who thinks they are right "intellectually" and think that skewing the interpretation of "guideline" without the filter of "common sense" (which they wrongly think they use all the time without "skewing"), means that they are telling the TRUTH and are interpreting the WIKI policies "accurately"...

To which Sethie replied:

"you seem to say is also Shashwat?" I have been saying this for over a month. When you say "seem to say" I don't trust your tone or your words. I do trust that you have never asked him.

I could give a crap if this article leads people to SCRM (I don't hope that it does). However I do care that wikipolicies are maintained. That is my only concern here. "so as not to "collude" and attract unintentionally, recruits for the group because of the WIKI article..." That agenda will, I predict, has and will lead you, as it did me, to not follow wikipedia policy.
You keep saying basically the same things over and over. Concensus is against you. Find someone on wikipedia who agrees with you. None of us do. Sethie (talk) 20:07, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

4d-don Replied

I was trying not to "put words in your mouth" as I don't know that for a fact and have never had it confirmed...I know you think so (POV), but I don't. You say the same thing over and over also (POV)...and your claim to speak for "all on WIKI" is also a little POV I think (my POV)...OH! OH!, I'm in trouble now! lol ;-)). Concensus is not against me, except you seem to believe (POV) that "in your mind" it is. That is why I will go to a "broader" concensus of WIKI membership... When you say: "none of us" you are of course, not speaking for others and are WIKI (good faith) as you express your POV. ;-)). You are allowed your POV by me and I joke about it only for fun. I will not have you blocked, or report you to "persian gal" but will ask for broader INPUT on the issues at hand unless we can reach a "concensus" among us.

About Shashwat...I converse with him regularly and he comments on my blog sometimes, but have refused to "conspire" or collude with anyone to "destroy" any person's "belief", or carry anyone's "words". My job as an INFONAUT is to INFORM not DESTROY. I have not asked him and/or he did not confirm anything (I don't think so, if he did, it went by un-noticed by me) about his WIKI stance, id,... except I was told that he was "BLOCKED" (by him and you) and I know where he stands from reading him. He is a "VICTIM". On this SRCM matter I "speak" no opinion but my own in the discussion, and I try to adhere to WIKI's NPOV policy in the Article. If you speak to Shashwat as you do with me here, he may tell you that "I betrayed" him quite a few times...lol ;-))

Then Sethie posted this on the [Sahaj Marg Discussion page]:

'I have noticed that as soon as Shashwat was blocked your tone and conversation style underwent a radical change. Now it seems to go back and forth between the Don I know and a Don I don't know. Until you answer this question 22 there is nothing further to discuss. I would ask others to reframe from dialogueing with Don as well until he has been open and honest about that. Sethie (talk) 21:01, 17 May 2008 (UTC)'

4d-don Replied

Sethie...

Ha! ha! ha! You're funny! Specially after I answered you that question on your talk page! The Answer then and is now: NO! I speak for myself only!! But many readers agree with me. Maybe you think that I'm Shashwat also? ARE YOU BEING POV or ?? are you on a "SOAPBOX" or a MISSION? Can I ask you a question about your private "conversations" with Renee? (lol.. ;-))) I told "Poet Gal", I would not use "colour" but you guys are too much! ... One has to laugh! How does one become like that?

Since the "admin" ecourages "reFRAME from dialogueing", as per WIKI guidelines, I guess that means that we will have to talk directly through the article... but I will wait and confirm all my input, as I usually do, with other "admins" first and then post directly to the article...

Keep on the Sunny Side of LIFE...

4d-don--don (talk) 04:34, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

And then Sethie:

Thanks for your clear answer to that question.

I am tired of you making personal, insulting comments about me. I am striking them out.
If this is the best you can do, after me talking with you, after Persian Poet Girl talking with you, then please, go away. Sethie (talk) 05:36, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

Your barnstar pasted elsewhere

Hello, I assumed that this barnstar pasted on this blocked user's page is not yours and reverted the User:Zippycup who added it to a blocked user's user page. I have been re-reverted by an IP and the BS is back on the user page. I have also left a note at User talk:Zippycup who has ever since moved his talk page elsewhere. Just letting you know. Changes?

Hello again. I assume you remember commenting at User:RyRy5/Admin Coaching on the oppose section. In your opinion, have I changed since then? I would like your opinions on this. You should check my contributions also if you don't mind. Thanks.--RyRy5 (talk wikify) 03:51, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Thank you. I agree that the only problem for me was the copyright problems. I'm starting to realize some edits I've done wrong through my adoption with User:Steve Crossin, more in particular User:Steve Crossin/Adoption. I believe I'm slowing down on the editing, mostly just enjoying real life and thinking about my contributions here. Ever since that time you commented about me, I never used "per nom" !votes. I've learned that backing up your vote with links, external links, wikipedia policies such as WP:MUSIC and why it fails that policy is better than "per nom" !votes. I have one last thing to ask you, is contributing to the help desk a good thing? I've started contributing there and I try to help out however I can.--RyRy5 (talk wikify) 04:28, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, I try to avoid those. :P Well, thank you for your time, and keep up that reverting. :) Regards, RyRy5 (talk wikify) 04:31, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Poet Gal...

How does one take an "edit conflict" to MEDIATION with WIKI?

I would like a "boader opinion" than the small group of editors on the Sahaj Marg Page as "concensus" is not possible and some editors with dissenting voices are kept away by the tactics of "fake concensus" used on this discussion page. All we need is a place for a Broad WIKI Community to vote on wether to include or reject an EDIT where there is conflict.

Could you send me the link to how the decision-making process takes place? Who decides who won? Is it just "numbers"?

4d-don--don (talk) 18:29, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

You issued a final warning to the IP vandal that had done 10 separate deletions on this article. Subsequent to your warning, the person vandalized again. You may want to consider a block. Thanks. TimidGuy (talk) 20:15, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

IP sock block template question

Hi PPG. I see you're the admin who blocked User:Greg Jungwirth. An new RFCU has just confirmed (or semi-confirmed) another load of his socks. Do you happen to know what template is used for this combination:

  • IP editor
  • blocked for a year
  • believed to be a sock (from a comment by Thatcher in an RFCU, though not 'checkuser confirmed')

I see there is an indef-blocked IP template, but I thought we didn't do indef blocks for IPs. Is this question too specialized? :-) Thanks for any ideas, EdJohnston (talk) 03:14, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Sahaj Marg

Poet gal...

I was not refering to you... I appreciate your input. Thanks for your help...

I will be taking the MEDIATION route, after I confer with "the team" (not the current editors) who would take part in a MEDIATION but do not want to waste their time "arguing " ad nauseum on a discussion page, when there is no hope for concensus without some "common sense" person involved to interpret the WIKI guidelines accurately... as it stands now, all the material put out by this GROUP (a faction of a divided Shri Ram Chandra Mission-SRCM who are currently in court over the ownership of the said: MISSION), including their PR, is deemed "UN-acceptable (self published). And only "ENGLISH" information is deemed "credible", for a GROUP that has a reputation in India (hindi), Asia, and Europe (italy, france, belgium, spain, etc..), so all the info from "the world press" in other languages, including from Governments, courts, newspapers, etc... is deemed un-acceptable, as it is not in English...

The volunteer "mediator" (one person) process does not appeal to me very much, as that process can easily be manipulated by a "GROUP"...that is what the ADMIN should do... besides that, I (or any biased member of any Group) could put my name forward as a MEDIATOR and skew that process, as the GROUP members have skewed the interpretation of the WIKI GUIDELINES on this particular article. I want to have a "Broader WIKI COMMUNITY" input so that the INTERPRETATION of WIKI GUIDELINES are not left to a small "GROUP" of 4 or 5 members of the GROUP in question...and an admin who has already decided on the issues... and does not encourage nor work towards "concensus" with COMMON SENSE. (not you)...  ;-))

The controversy now? Sahaj Marg Meditation is only recommended for those over 18 yrs old.

The members of the GROUP (Sahaj Marg) don't want that sentence in the article even though it's in Books (by the Founder), articles, their PR, on their own sites, etc... but is not acceptable to them, and the "admin" (Sethie) (not you) agrees ... Not very "common sense"...and why? What is not acceptable with that sentence? It is accurate...and not controversial! They don't want to use the material they published included, IMHO, because the MASTER has said some "very outrageous things" and they don't want to open the FLOOD GATES to other SELF-PUBLISHED Material...imho. But that is not WIKI, just an self-serving interpretation of WIKI, and not COMMON SENSE.

I will research, confer, and proceed after... But as it stands, the article is just a PR for Sahaj Marg, and is not a balanced "encyclopedia" article with all the "controversies" included as in other WIKI articles on such "religious" and/or controversial groups. If we can't reach a concensus on a fair but balanced article, most (of the TEAM) already favour a "motion" to delete the article (again).

You gotta laugh, b'cause it's not funny...

(from Hmichele)

  • Dear Persian Poet Girl, how do you get your userpage to look so groovy? Hmichele (talk) 16:16, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Eh heh, long story :). I like to play around with html, I'm no wizard but through trial and error, I get something reasonably ok out of it. I'll give you a hint, if you like to give yourself a groovy background try using <div> coding. This code:

<div style="border-style: none; text-align: left; border: #(color of the border) solid (thickness of the border)px; -moz-border-radius: 10px; background: #(color of the background); padding: 5px;">

Gives you the ability to give your userpage a background with a border. Use an html color chart for the colors (this may help) and just type a number for the thickness of the border. Write the content of your page under that code and then at the end of your page enclose it with this:

</div>

That's one tip for a "groovy" userpage as you call it :P.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 19:16, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

  • I'll see when I can get around to it. Thanks for that. Catch you later. Hmichele (talk) 03:49, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

Calling in a favour!

Small issue, seems my friend doesn't want to go and as such left a leaving note on one of the IP addresses recently blocked due to a RFCU which didn't go his way. Seeing as Greg is a sore loser and will goto whatever pages he can edit in order to push his hate campaign against me, can you please full-prot the talkpages for the confirmed IP addresses and the user talkpages that got caught in the checkuser? treelo talk 20:40, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Poet gal...

All I am doing is trying to see how many readers (who don't edit) and others editors want that sentence included...SO it is an attempt to see what the true concensus is...I don't know what you mean by "meat-puppet" If you mean that the "voters" are me...then you are wrong...

I think that to see what the "CONCENSUS" is, is WIKI acceptable...If there is no-one who thinks like I do, then I will move on to another issue...If their are enough who think like I do, I will ask for mediation, I think...a formal one but I am still reading that sections...Will decide after I know the real numbers....

Please explain Sethie's accusation....again...

Don--don (talk) 00:33, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

Poet Gal...

I just read what "meat-puppet" means and that is exactly what SRCM the group in question is doing, they are members who are in a COI and are bullying all other editors from participating by "erasing" and refusing to use "common sense"...what is the recourse when "one person" (me) can't even reach a concensus on even Material that is in their own PR, but which they know they are not adhering to...the age limit...They are teaching meditation to KIDS...

What is the recourse to having that AGE LIMIT put in...when you are facing "meat-puppets" and when I ask for a broader concensus, I am accused of doing what they have done...controlled the dialogue with "meat-puppets", trying to remove all controversies and make this page a PROMO for their GROUP.

Do you really think that MEDIATION will work and that we won't get another "volunteer" who is a "GROUP member" or member of another "cabal"? ...then what?

If we can't fight the way the GROUPS do (what you call "meat-puppets"), then WIKI has been usurped by meat-puppets already...

Miss Princess Persian Poet Gal you deserve a hug and pat on the back for being 'mediator' in the ongoing 'discussion' between 4d-don and Sethie. Excellent decision (in my opinion) blocking Chebyshev. I went to warn him based on this edit and his talk page was protected. A quick check of the logs and I could see what happened. I was wondering whether putting a {{blocked}} tag on the user and user talk pages might be a good idea. Either way, thanks for watching out for our project. --SSBohio 05:51, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
