Welcome[edit]

Apparently I am being accused of being a sock puppet. I was rather startled to click an edit button and see the block page. I hope this misunderstanding can be cleared up soon so I can get back to editing!

The message is as follows:

Your user name or IP address has been blocked from editing. You were blocked by Tony Sidaway for the following reason (see our blocking policy): Autoblocked because your IP address has been recently used by "SqueakBox". The reason given for SqueakBox's block is: "Add arbcom one month ban (which was evaded by socking) to existing block.". Your IP address is 64.233.173.86.

HOWEVER I have still been able to edit pages, but it seems to be hit-and-miss. I cannot edit my own page about half of the times I click to edit it. I have been able to access the edit page on articles I've found by clicking random article. Your block is not 100% effective, but it is still really annoying. You need to: 1: unblock me 2: review your methods of blocking addresses. Users that log on should be able to bypass group IP address blocks, especially if that user is an established user and has no history of vandalism. 3: review your blocking. I was unable to edit my own user page but I could edit main pages. there is a serious loophole there that needs to be addressed. I am not even trying to evade your security measures and I managed to, someone with malicious intent could easilly get through to do harm.

I advocate wiki sites and I feel they are the best thing to happen to the internet since e-mail. i undesrtand that measures MUST be taken to preserve this media, but at the same time, i understand that what makes this idea so wonderful is that it is open to ALL PEOPLE. vandalism cannot be tolerated, but your blocking procedures are ineffective and infact countereffective.

Non-notable, closed small theater

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
