abusive edits

Hello,

This page was vandalised http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhydyfelin and I notice that the chap who did this has been warned by you before. I have undone his change but would like you to ban him please.

Hiya. In general we don't "ban" IP addresses. They can be blocked for various lengths of time according to the situation. This IP is dynamic, and opertated by NTL who are a broadband provider. So it is likely that if I blocked now it would not effect the editor who made the bad edit, but might stop someone else instead. Hope that clarifies things Pedro :  Chat  11:29, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

Agreed, and I did pause on this editor quite a bit, due to warnings on his talk page and a lack of twinkle / undo use. Well, naming conventions are fluid not bound. However where there is no need for a disambiguation there's no need to specify the field of notability (that's my understanding).
