i just posted on the village pump, because i think i made some mistakes in uploading files and asked a friend who had prior experience for help. she posted the files under her name. i want my posts to be deleted in favor of hers

You can not delete posts, because they will stay in the memory of Wikipedia, but you can "undo them", so they are not shown in the article. On top of any wikipedia article, you see a button "history". If you press this, you see all the edits, made in this article. At the end of every entry you can read (undo). Press this undo behind your edit, and a new window opens, showing the result of the action. You only have to save this, and your edit is not shown within the article any more. Do not forget to give a short summary (unid my own edit) or something like that, to prevent from being suspected a vandal.
