Intrusion[edit]

Sorry about this. I just felt it was necessary so that a red link wouldn't show up on every transclusion. Cheers, benzband (talk) 18:51, 22 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for fixing that for me! Don't worry about it :D -Oxguy3 tc 22:53, 24 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You may have noticed over the past few days that the MOTD that you link to on your user page has simply displayed a red link. This is due to the fact that not enough people are reviewing pending MOTDs here. Please help us keep the MOTD template alive and simply go and review a few of the MOTDs in the list. That way we can have a real MOTD in the future rather than re-using (This space for rent). Any help would be appreciated! –pjoef (talkcontribs) 12:28, 7 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

CSD notification[edit]

The page Gabriel Sunday looks like it may be a valid CSD, but I prefer not to delete a page unless the creator has been notified. I understand that sometimes automated tools fail to do the notification for some reason. Not sure if that was the case, but could you make the notification?SPhilbrick(Talk) 01:08, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Oops, my bad, forgot to notify the creator. Sorry about that, I notified him/her now. -Oxguy3 tc 01:10, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
And now deleted.--SPhilbrick(Talk) 01:15, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! -Oxguy3 tc 01:20, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality dispute[edit]

You just slapped a neutrality dispute on the article Medal "For Distinguished Labour" without leaving any explanation on the talk page. Any chance at an explanation? Fdutil (talk) 01:42, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I gotta stop being so lazy using Twinkle. I saw the sentence "During its existence of just over fifty years, it was bestowed to over two million deserving citizens." (last sentence in the intro) and thought the article might be biased towards in favor of recipients of the award (the word that caught my eye that was "deserving"). I probably should have just reworded that sentence instead of leaving that ambiguous tag... -Oxguy3 tc 23:50, 10 April 2012 (UTC) (revised for clarity at 23:52, 10 April 2012 (UTC))[reply]

Edits Question[edit]

Hi, I just submitted a new page for Ibrahim Eissa. I noticed that you added a note to the top regarding a few issues. The wonky formatting and bare URLs I can change, but as far as using sources multiple times, it might be necessary for sections on his biographical/career information. He is definitely a notable character, maybe the most well-known oppositional journalist in Egypt, but because of where he writes, the sources that exist are kind of limited. What can I do to correct this type of problem? 141.161.133.25 (talk) 22:55, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies for the anonymous signature. I wasn't logged in. This message was from me. ClassicOx (talk) 22:57, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It's okay that your number of sources is limited; you have enough to meet BLP requirements. I was just noting that, instead of making the same exact sources appear multiple times in the References section, you should make the sources appear only once and be referenced multiple times. I did a horrible job explaining that, so I'll just do it on that article so you can see what I mean. -Oxguy3 tc 23:20, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, cool. Thanks for the help. ClassicOx (talk) 23:58, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Help me out?[edit]

Hey, in my sandbox I'm trying to make a legit page for the web series The Most Popular Girls in School, and was wondering if you'd come check it out. I think it has the fixings to be a legit page, I just hope they let me, I tried before but didn't know I needed references lol, so they almost banned me haha. Please help me out, I'm basically a wiki n00b. --Matt723star (talk) 15:56, 6 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:We Like Sportz screenshot.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:We Like Sportz screenshot.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Werieth (talk) 19:55, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Henry the Hand Foundation, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
