• This is an interesting article, expanded 5X within the last 5 days, therefore it is new enough and long enough. The article is neutrally written, and each paragraph has an inline citation. (a citation for the last sentence in "Conservation" would be nice, though). I find no close paraphrasing in the article. The main hook is interesting (the larvae is larger than either male or female adult). I don't find ALT1 compelling in any way, so I'd not use that. The hook is within policy regarding length/objectivity. The image is properly designated Creative Commons, so no issue there. The problem is that the hook is nowhere to be found in the article! • We're getting real close here. My last concern has to do with the word "enormous" which is now contained in the sentence which is directly related to the hook. While I think 13cm makes the hook interesting, "enormous" is a superlative that might not really apply. What does the source use any superlatives regarding the size of the larvae? • I removed the word "enormous" in reference to the larva. On the related issue of size, I added a sentence to the article's opening stating that the beetle is one of the largest in Chile, with a reference to a Chilean Ministry of the Environment fact sheet. And prior to that you removed material on it being a protest against the occupation of East Jerusalem, which has previously been discussed on the talk page for example here. Every year somebody thinks that because they see this in the news that they must remove facts in an encyclopedia article they dislike. You've got this 100% backwards. This article is an embarrassment to Wikipedia in its present state. According to your version, Quds Day is primarily a festival for Berlin Jews who hate Israel rather than a political gimmick of the extremist regime presently in control of Iran. Hi. Do you really think it is necessary to tag the article as disputed neutrality over the picture? Youre disputing the entire articles neutrality because of the picture in the infobox? Acanthinodera cumingii

Dear OtterAM,

thank you for your work on Wikipedia. It is greatly appreciated. Just now I came across a page move from some years ago, of the article Acanthinodera cumingii [3], which I would like to run by you. You indicated the reason, that the article is about the species. I would like to undo this page move. That is because this is a monotypic genus, meaning there is only a single species in this genus. As such, our guidelines indicate we should describe both the genus and species in a single article: "In such a case, the ranks with identical member organisms should not be separated into different articles". Moreover, the naming convention says that the name should be that of the genus: "the article... ...should go under the scientific name of lowest rank, but no lower than the monotypic genus."
