Disambiguation link notification for September 19[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Outline of Uruguay, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Epiphany. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:10, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Status of resource request for Naturism in the United States?[edit]

If you still want portions of the book:

  • Ilfeld, Fred Jr; Lauer, Roger (1964). Social Nudism in America. New Haven, Connecticut: College and University Press. LCCN 63-17367.

that you requested at Wikipedia:WikiProject Resource Exchange/Resource Request#Sources for Naturism in the United States, then email me so that I can attach a pdf of the index in reply. If I don't hear from you soon, I'll assume you no longer want the book, and will return it to the library on Saturday. --Worldbruce (talk) 00:39, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Worldbruce:: is any other way to get the index without having to send an email? That tool reveals the email address. --Onwa (talk) 01:25, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Onwa: Email is how it's almost always done. I've occasionally seen (younger?) volunteers at RX upload the pdf to a segregated cloud location, password protect it, then email the password (which, as plain text, doesn't first require an email from the requester). Alas, there are some tricks this dog is too old to figure out. I understand your concern about privacy. I use a throw-away email address for Wikipedia so that it doesn't matter if anyone ever leaks it. If you don't want to reveal your "real" email, you could do the same. What do you think? --Worldbruce (talk) 01:50, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, if you could do the trick of upload to a private cloud it would be helpful. --Onwa (talk) 14:36, 18 October 2023 (UTC) @Worldbruce: --Onwa (talk) 19:03, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I spent a couple hours this morning trying to figure out cloud sharing - what I need to install, what I need to subscribe to, how to configure it, how to upload a file, how to protect it - and I'm not getting anywhere. I give up; you'll need to get the source from someone more au courant with tech's bleeding edge. --Worldbruce (talk) 19:22, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Worldbruce: Don't worry about that. Anyways, thank you for your help and your efforts. --Onwa (talk) 21:23, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
