Information icon Hello, I'm TheManInTheBlackHat. I noticed that you recently removed content from J. C. Nichols without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Information icon Hi Omnipotent Faith! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of an article several times: J. C. Nichols. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Skynxnex (talk) 23:26, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to J. C. Nichols while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. You have been blocked from editing this page. The block applies to any account that you may use. Repeated breach of this may lead to further sanctions against you. RolandR (talk) 13:26, 8 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Acroterion (talk) 01:29, 8 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have partially blocked you, from J. C. Nichols. Please engage at the talkpage, rather than edit-warring. While I understand why you don't wish to see a relative described in this manner, that doesn't give you license to remake the article according to your feelings.
