Your username[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Officialhaileynicole", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because usernames which appear to represent or promote a specific organization or person are not permitted per WP:PROMONAME. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 02:17, 6 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

In addition, it implies that the account may be "handed off" from one person to another over time. With the exception of accounts that belong to the Wikimedia Foundation, there is a very strict rule of "one person per account." That is, once an account is created, only the person who created it should edit with it. The reverse isn't as strict: Under some circumstances, a person can have more than one account, see WP:SOCKLEGIT for examples. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 02:50, 6 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest editing[edit]

Information icon Hello, Officialhaileynicole. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Draft:Hailey Nicole Ralston, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 02:18, 6 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Officialhaileynicole. Although you seem to be working on only a draft for an article about "Hailey Nicole Ralston", I still think it would be a very good idea to read through Wikipedia:Conflict of interest so that you better understand relevant Wikipedia policies and guidelines related to what you're trying to do.
In addition, if you are really Ralston's manager as you're claiming here on Fastily's user talk page, then you should be very careful to comply with Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure since failing to properly do so is a violation of Wikipedia's wmf:Terms of Use.
I also suggest you take a look at Wikipedia:Ownership of content, Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not, Wikipedia:An article about yourself isn't necessarily a good thing, Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons#Dealing with articles about yourself, Wikipedia:Too soon and Wikipedia:The answer to life, the universe, and everything because there are some important things about Wikipedia that you appear to be misunderstanding. Even if an article is created about Ralston, it will be written about her based upon what reliable sources are saying or have said about her; it will not be written for her and neither she, you nor anyone else connected to her will have any form of final editorial control over the article's content. -- Marchjuly (talk) 02:29, 6 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
