PBIA and SKBO[edit]

Sure you can add the line. I've never flown there, but my heritage is Colombian and I once worked for Avianca at FLL. Try to add the airport code template anywhere you don't see it. It's format is: (( Airport Codes | XXX | XXXX )) - replace (( with {{ Without the space of course (IATA 1st, ICAO 2nd) - PRueda29

High Voltage[edit]

Hello NuggetBoy, Why can I not keep in the bit about S&C Electric (pioneers in high voltage switching)? Regards, NorthernLad65

Image source problem with Image:Meillon John.jpg[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Meillon John.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 03:06, 28 December 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —Remember the dot (talk) 03:06, 28 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Barack Obama[edit]

Re: this edit, according to the server time of your edit, you were mistaken. He became president at noon eastern time. Powers T 17:10, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, but that has nothing to do with when he assumed office. Powers T 17:14, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
His term began at noon, regardless of whether he'd yet fulfilled the requirements to execute any of its duties. And even if it didn't begin until 12:05, that's when your edit was made; you really wanted to quibble over a few seconds? Powers T 17:30, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
We'll just have to disagree. And you came here to quibble. Thanks for stopping by. (Nuggetboy) (talk) (contribs) 17:35, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
CNN even displayed the information that according to the U.S. constitution, the presidency changes precisely at noon. There is no agreeing to disagree over facts. You were wrong, period. Be more careful in the future. 78.34.164.53 (talk) 19:08, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The 20th Amendment states that the end of the terms of VP and president come to an end at noon, but it says nothing about how it "changes precisely". Read my first reply above about what is says about the oath. Be more careful next time you state someone is "wrong, period." - (Nuggetboy) (talk) (contribs) 20:23, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ugh, I missed the "and the terms of their successors shall then begin". I admit defeat. :( - (Nuggetboy) (talk) (contribs) 20:48, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't come here originally to start a fight or to laugh at you for making an error; in retrospect, I probably should have let it go, and so I apologize. Powers T 23:13, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Same here. Sorry for the dickishness of my wording. Civility and using the preview button are not exactly my strengths (but I'm slowly learning). 78.34.139.232 (talk) 06:35, 21 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Userbox[edit]

I don't mind at all; it's something of a compliment! It's based on this template; I just tweaked the colours and added an image more to my liking. I'm quite pleased that you liked it, actually. :) If you don't mind my asking, are you reading the Dan Simmons book, or just interested in Wilkie Collins? Kafka Liz (talk) 22:54, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed, I'm reading it. I guess my recent contributions clued you into that. :) It has kept my interest thus far, although I'm not crazy about it. I didn't even know about Collins until I started reading this. I'm embarrassed to admit that the only reason I even picked this up is because my brother has the same name. (Nuggetboy) (talk) (contribs) 14:24, 24 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Please tell me your brother isn't named "Drood".;) I'm reading it too, and feel pretty much the same. Not bad, but could be better. Kafka Liz (talk) 18:31, 24 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hah, no. Sorry, I mean the author. Although my brother calls himself "Danny." Yes, for a book that's supposed to be so creepy (I believe it says that on the dust jacket flap), I am rather non-creeped at the moment. (Nuggetboy) (talk) (contribs) 21:15, 24 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback[edit]

I have granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe I can trust you to use rollback correctly by using it for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. –Juliancolton | Talk 15:45, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mika Brzezinski[edit]

Ya know, you could just take it to talk instead of running off to BLP and essentially lying about the 3RR. I am at my 3 and made two other edits. You could just take it to talk and we could hash it out there. I am not that hard to work with, but when you run off unnecessarily to a noticeboard without notifing me after (which is SOP), it is just kinda rude. - NeutralHomerTalk • 17:39, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Apology accepted. I totally agree that a source like ABC for example should be used and I don't think Kos is the greatest source in the world (since they do slant "left"), but I think they do check their coverage. I think while other sources are found (again, like from ABC for instance) it is "good enough" to stand for the moment, but shouldn't stand permenately. - NeutralHomerTalk • 18:01, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I appreciate the back-and-forth here, but I hope you'll also appreciate my differing opinion here. I feel I still need to remove this, drawing your attention again to RS in the context of BLP. We have to ensure that sources are rock solid in the cases of an article on a person. If you revert, I won't re-revert. I still plan to follow-up on the discussion we have started at WP:BLPN. (Nuggetboy) (talk) (contribs) 18:11, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
User:SpaceFlight89 reverted it out as it was a diary by a Kos user not a Kos journalist. So, I am in your corner now (sorta) that it isn't reliable. If it were a journalist writing it, I would say so, but a everyman (everywoman in this case) is not notable. We would have blogs clogging en.wiki up if we allowed that. So, I think we can (I hope) call this closed. - NeutralHomerTalk • 18:17, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Closed indeed. (Nuggetboy) (talk) (contribs) 18:20, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sweet. Sorry things got a little testy there. Take Care...NeutralHomerTalk • 18:21, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

(out) Don't be. We're here to make a good encyclopedia, but we're gonna butt heads every now and then. And make bone-headed assumptions about policy! (D'oh!) :) (Nuggetboy) (talk) (contribs) 18:35, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
