I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. I responded to your comment on Talk:R. J. Rummel. Welcome to Wikipedia; please remember that there is much more of it than Ultramarine; but see also Talk:Democratic peace theory. He has a tendency to claim rules violation when displeased, so if you intend to edit any of the articles he lays claim to (which Wikipedians are not supposed to do), you eventually will want to read the actual policies linked to under the The five pillars of Wikipedia.

On a lighter note, remember that not having created your user page marks you as new. This is supposed to protect you from some obnoxiousness; but also means you get less respect. Even putting in "Hello, world" is enough, just as long as it's not a redlink.

All too much experience of Ultramarine has persuaded me that he is unlikely to be an academic; and he ignored a request (by a third party) for his qualifications. I would class him as one of Rummel's followers, and you may know what Nietzsche said about followers.Septentrionalis 03:31, 16 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
