I'll be reading these in the coming days. Been looking for an open source on the Somali military.
Thank you Norkeys (talk) 17:28, 6 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Sure. Note also commentaries at http://theglobalobservatory.org. You will see that following the way that the authors here have written, and WP:MILUNIT, I've set up Somali divisions as Division 43 (Somalia) etc, cardinal, not 43rd Division (ordinal). Also, in accordance with the WP:CAT guidelines, until we have 20(ish) Somali military units and formations, we do not need to set up "Category:Military units and formations of Somalia." Up to that point, we can simply put them in Category:Military of Somalia, where you may have found the other divisions initially, and Category:Infantry divisions. Thank you, I have moved the page to a cardinal naming scheme and also added a new section with the sources you have given. Thank you for the help!

A tag has been placed on Category:Somali military units indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself. Liz Read! ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
