Congratulations on your first article about the Los Angeles Children's Chorus (LACC). Regarding the LA Times quote, you could let it stay with the cite tag for now or just remove it - I'm not sure it adds that much to the content, but either way is fine. I'm impressed that you're writing articles on Wikipedia at 14!
