Deleting photos off the Sarajevo article[edit]

Naatalino7, I moved photos to the gallery section at the end of the Sarajevo article because they were crowding the text and made reading quite difficult. If you feel that they help the article and that they should be returned, feel free to do so:) Bizutage (talk) 15:35, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Glavna ulica Main street.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Glavna ulica Main street.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. A tag has been placed on File:Fountain in centre.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. License tagging for File:Mladen Stojanovic.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Mladen Stojanovic.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 22:05, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Nermin Alukic-Cerkez requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

A tag has been placed on Todor Švrakić requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

October 2010[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Prijedor. Users who edit disruptively or refuse to collaborate with others may be blocked if they continue. In particular the three-revert rule states that making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block. If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards wording and content that gains consensus among editors. If unsuccessful then do not edit war even if you believe you are right. Post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.

Triggering an edit-war by persistently adding into the article's lead section the 'Bosnian' (in fact: Serbo-Croat) name Prijedor of the city that is already CALLED Prijedor in English and TITLED here on Wikipedia as such is just childish. Please read our guidelines and policies on how to contribute more constructively. MIaceK (woof!) 17:19, 29 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sarajevo[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Sarajevo, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. June 2011[edit]

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Bosniaks, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Charles (talk) 12:56, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Answer:

Cant understand why you reverted the page and all of the sourced that I have used. I was at the moment posting sources for the parts that had a "citation needed" box.

When it comes to the numbers and figures in the infobox, all of the updated numbers was updated WITH sources! I do not poste anything without a source, unless it i already referred to this in som ohter parts of the text.

You have also reverted the pictures in the infobox of notable Bosniaks such as Edin Dzeko, Husein Gradascevic, SKender Kulenovic, Kemal Monteno and so on...?

Please give me a message before you revert info that I have used days to gather and make it look good.

Also you should know that the officail symbol is not just the golden Lilly, it is also the coat of arms with the 6 golden lillies.

Please put back the updated info, and give me a message about the parts you do not agree on so the contribution gets finalized. Natalino7 (talk) 12:56, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Stjepan Kljuić[edit]

Because Stjepan Kljuić is a biography of a living person, in particular of an active politician, you need to cite all additions, particularly major ones. --Joy [shallot] (talk) 07:40, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page BBI (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Please do not make articles about a living person that are entirely negative in tone and unsourced. Wikipedia has a policy of verifiability and any negative information we use must be reliably sourced, and our articles must be balanced. Negative unreferenced biographies of living people are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images in violation of our biographies of living persons policy will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Banate of Bosnia[edit]

Please cease with this pan-Bosnian advocacy or what's-it-called. I've already warned you before on a similar thing with the Stjepan Kljuić article.

In a 2007 arbitration case, administrators were given the power to impose discretionary sanctions on any user editing Balkans-related articles in a disruptive way. If you continue with the behaviour on Banate of Bosnia, you may be placed under sanctions including blocks, a revert limitation or an article/topic ban. Thank you.
