Getting Unblocked

Hi, I was trying to add links here and there that brought insight into various themes from a PBS newsmagazine, and a subordinate did too many too quickly using my log-in. As a rtesult, I was locked out. She is no longer using my account -- nor is anyone -- so I'm wondering how and when I could get posting privileges back, thanks. Deletion of Buzztard Page

Hi, I wonder why you deleted the page for 'Buzztard'? I saw that the reason given is "notability" and I read about what that means in the wikipedia context. I was updating that page in the past and I would like to do so in the future. The Buzztard project is quite active. There are now several linux distribution having packages for it. I see some importance in the project as the original project Jeskola_Buzz is dead (the source code is lost). Rewrites like Buzztard allow to play and work on music that has been compose with Buzz.

It would be nice to have it back to recover the links (e.g. from Jeskola_Buzz) and also to complement the application listing for GStreamer. Vickie Kennedy Deleted Article

I wondered why the article was deleted on Vickie Kennedy? I know this person and she's a very valuable asset to literary arts in Georgia. She has opened her own small publishing company, teaches free writing courses to aid writers in what colleges do not teach you about the business, she's held the first large scale conference just this year, her company is known for working with first time authors to improve their skills, and all this is to be commended since the woman suffered a heart attack, nearly died, suffered from the results of the anesthesia and struggled to learn to walk again, and other problems as well. Not many people have that kind of drive and determination! She doesn't charge anything to help writers! I think she's very worthy of being recognized on here! Hi. I'm admiring your troll handling abilities from afar. :) I do have one concern for your consideration, though, on your changes at HIV and AIDS misconceptions. When you change the description of someone from PhD to, say, biologist, you're adding information; but when you change the description of someone from M.D. to physician, you're removing information (all M.D.s are physicians, but not all physicians are M.D.s). I wonder if it wouldn't be better to keep the 'M.D.'. - Nunh-huh 15:20, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

Need your help re: Imette St. Guillen page

I see that you did some good edits on the Murder of Imette St. Guillen page. However, today I have been given permission by the St. Guillen's lawyer, Chris Lang in Boston, to put up a picture. However, the picture has been deleted and I re-uploaded it. He is the copyright holder of the image and he is running the "Spirit of Imette Foundation" in Boston (See the weblink) so this picture should not be deleted from her webpage. Troy Davis case

user:SelfEvidentTruths has made the Troy Davis article very biased. He has, amoung other things, deleted the ballistic evidence, tried to show racial bias and disrespected the Supreme Court. Deletion of Lexicon Branding article

I would like to know why you decided to apply notability guideline to the Lexicon Branding article. This company is a notable company (created brands like Pentium, Blackberry, Scion, Dasani and tens of other brands of the same level of recognition) and has in-depth coverage in international media. Here is a first source: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvmQ0N1wegQ (CNN video article involving easily recognizable people like chairman of Microsoft Corp.).

According to Wikipedia:Notability guidelines, the depth of coverage of the subject by the source must be considered (the source I provide provides an in-depth coverage of the company) and the source's audience must also be considered (very broad international audience, me – being from Argentina).

Hey Natalie.... I can never figure out how this system actually works. I was advised to contact you to get help with something. I wrote the stub about my uncle Friedrich (Fritz) Kachler. Last year on a visit to Vienna, Austria, I visited his daughter and discussed her father. She contradicted certain things my mother had told me as being very doubtful. I therefore removed the references to Sonie Henie and Cecilia College from the stub. Unfortunately, these inaccuracies were also introduced into other stubs (i.e. the French and English ones). While I have deleted these references in all three versions (English, French and German). The histories of these stubs still allow for the inaccuracies to be resurrected. I would like to avoid this. Natalie, could you or anyone else delete the history of my English article (almost all changes are mine) and also of the French and German ones too. With Thanks, George K

Firebred has become one of the major factors in changing Christian music today. Right now they are in talks with 3 networks about there upcoming 50 states in 40 days tour, and making it a nationally televised event. MSU Interview

Dear Natalie Erin,

My name is Jonathan Obar user:Jaobar, I'm a professor in the College of Communication Arts and Sciences at Michigan State University and a Teaching Fellow with the Wikimedia Foundation's Education Program. This semester I've been running a little experiment at MSU, a class where we teach students about becoming Wikipedia administrators. Not a lot is known about your community, and our students (who are fascinated by wiki-culture by the way!) want to learn how you do what you do, and why you do it. A while back I proposed this idea (the class) to the communityHERE, where it was met mainly with positive feedback. Anyhow, I'd like my students to speak with a few administrators to get a sense of admin experiences, training, motivations, likes, dislikes, etc. We were wondering if you'd be interested in speaking with one of our students.

So a few things about the interviews:

• Interviews will last between 15 and 30 minutes.
• Interviews can be conducted over skype (preferred), IRC or email. (You choose the form of communication based upon your comfort level, time, etc.)
• All interviews will be completely anonymous, meaning that you (real name and/or pseudonym) will never be identified in any of our materials, unless you give the interviewer permission to do so.
• All interviews will be completely voluntary. You are under no obligation to say yes to an interview, and can say no and stop or leave the interview at any time.
• The entire interview process is being overseen by MSU's institutional review board (ethics review). This means that all questions have been approved by the university and all students have been trained how to conduct interviews ethically and properly.

Bottom line is that we really need your help, and would really appreciate the opportunity to speak with you.
