You're incredibly sad life.[edit]

So let me get this straight, you spend your time on Wikipedia looking through articles to flag even though you have absolutely no idea what the article may be about or its basis of truth? An encyclopedia is a collection of information on various topics, and you think your feeble brain has any right to judge whether an article on Wikipedia should be present or not? I feel incredibly sorry for you that you have absolutely nothing better to do other than rifle through other peoples business and cast your useless opinion on a matter that for others may be very useful. You flagged our article even though it had absolutely nothing to do with you even though what was written on it were true events witnessed by the authors. You are a disgrace. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Narutoloveshinata5needsalife (talkcontribs) 13:24, 17 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Pokemon Coordinators[edit]

I have noticed that you sent me a message saying that the article i just wrote literally a few minutes ago has already been nominated by you for deletion. I do not see a reason for this. I believe it was an informative, useful article, at least for people who like Pokemon. I knew the risks involved when i heard that an article about the same subject was deleted, but i thought it must have had bad content. I am not sure why you nominated it for deletion. It is the first article i ever created. Please contact me to tell me why you NFD'd it, and please consider removing the tag.

Inappropriate tagging[edit]

What you did at Kimberly camba s talk page [1] was totally inappropriate. You tried to speedy delete something which any familiar with voice actors would tell you is a fine article, and instead of just a general notice of intent on the new user's talk page, you add a rather hostile personal message.

Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 04:51, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That sounds like a warning to those committing vandalism on multiple articles, not a new user who created just one article, which was clearly not vandalism. Try not to be so hostile towards you fellow editors in the future. Dream Focus 06:20, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

smiley face[edit]

Hi, thanks for the smiley face. You can look at my edit summaries of your speedy delete nominations that I decline. Usually I don't give feedback unless something serious is going on. Some editors get very upset when their article is nominated for deletion though! I suppose you can look at your contributions, and see what articles not deleted and then figure out why. I am always happy to explain more or reconsider, but usually if a speedy delete is declined it is better to go for an AFD or prod. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 08:02, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Closure of Robert Earl Hughes AfD[edit]

[2] This ANI discussion relates to your non-admin closure of the AfD on the Robert Earl Hughes article. I believe there may be a problem, which is why I asked for clarification. Warrah (talk) 14:11, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Obvious SNOW keep though it was, you shouldn't close an AfD in which you have expressed an opinion - see WP:NAC#Inappropriate closures and WP:NACD. That wouldn't be right even for an admin closure. To keep everything squeaky-clean, I have re-closed it. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 15:26, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No worries. It's worth being scrupulous about the details to avoid the possibility of wikilawyering afterwards - I now take care before closing an AfD that it is not just on the 7th day but that 7 x 24 hours have elapsed, after once being accused at DRV (wrongly, as it happened) of not having given an AfD its full time. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 17:32, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You seem to be a bit indecisive on whether I should unprotect it or not. In my opinion, this is one of those rare articles that is better served by being semi-protected indefinitely. It's not well-watched or edited frequently, and very prone to ugly vandalism that may go unnoticed for a long time. The risks outweigh the benefits. If you still want me to unprotect it I will, but I'm not too keen on watching it very much. Grandmasterka 20:40, 3 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Ayaz samoo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Wendy L'Belle Page[edit]

I am trying to work through your notes on the Wendy L'Belle page.
She is known throughout the world as a graphic artist
and has electronic greetings that have been seen by millions of people as well as a clothing line in Australia,
paper greeting cards, and licensing of products that have been sold in 25 countries.
Unfortunately many of the news articles that have been written about her worldwide,br> are older and no longer are on line.
I would rather remove the page than have the notices on top of it but I cannot figure out how to cleanly remove the page
through the wiki notes as I am not an administrator.
I am not really sure how to proceed here, I realize I should've had more news articles and support for the article,
but her notoriety and fans are throughout the world.
I would like to resubmit it later when I have more supporting notes for it.
Any input you could give me here would be a great help. Thank you, Yknti (talk) 05:59, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted your close of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bulgaria Ski Jumping Team. The criteria for speedy keeping an article up for AFD says that it was inappropriate. under the applicability section it says:

Reasons for a speedy keep decision include:

  1. There are zero remaining arguments for deletion or merger:
    1. No one other than the nominator recommends that the page be deleted, merged, or renamed, and
    2. The nominator withdraws the nomination or fails to advance an argument for deletion, merger, or rename.

The AFD has 2 other delete !votes outstanding so it fails the criteria and should remian open, either until I and the other editor who recommended delete remove our !votes or 7 days and an admin closes the discussion. Does that make sense? ~~ GB fan ~~ talk 11:33, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of John peruvanthanam[edit]

Just a quick note to let you know that I removed the speedy deletion template you placed on John peruvanthanam because the article did not seem to meet the speedy deletion criterion A7. The article contains a credible claim of significance. Also a quick Google suggests he is very likely to meet the general notability guideline.

Please be aware that is normally inappropriate re-add a speedy deletion template when another editor (other than the creator of the article) has removed it, because speedy deletion is only for uncontroversial deletions. If you believe the article still needs to be deleted, please consider WP:PROD or WP:AFD which can be used for deletions which are not covered by the speedy deletion criteria.

I am not an administrator and I do not have any special authority in this matter. If you feel that I have made a mistake, please feel free to contact me on my talk page.

RfA comments as requested[edit]

Hello, Naruto. Here are the RfA comments requested. To begin with, I can tell you almost positively that you would not pass right now. Several months maybe, depending on the work you do. This is not meant to discourage you, just a statement of the situation as I see it. Here are the reasons why:

  • Most pressing, the massive amount of usertalk edits in comparison to fairly little article work. While most RfA !voters like vandalism work, they also expect a fair amount of actual article building.
  • just below 6,000 edits, especially with as many in userspace, most !voters will object to. They're looking for evidence that you have a great deal of knowledge about policy and know how to use it.

Here are my suggestions for working toward an RfA:

  • Pick several articles and improve them. I don't mean a basic copyedit or something minor. Take an article and significantly improve it, preferably by a level or two on the quality scale.
  • Make yourself extremely familiar with policy. All of it, but especially in relation to deletion, vandalism (block and ban), and civility.
  • Hang around RfA, ANI, AIV. You don't have to comment, !vote, anything. Just get a feel for the processes and expectations for an admin. Read any policy that's linked or look it up if not linked and you're unfamiliar with it.
  • Be patient. Take time to think through your edits and make as few mistakes as possible.
  • Request mentorship or admin coaching.

I hope these help. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Cheers, PrincessofLlyr royal court 22:43, 11 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks. For the part about what what articles to pick, I had placed a request for SuggestBot, but it hasn't edited in a while. If I would contribute, likely it will be about anime, my country (the Philippines) or tropical cyclones. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 00:51, 12 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Any of those would be fine. SuggestBot does tend to take awhile. Mostly though, be patient. Take the time to do this thoroughly and don't start an RfA prematurely. Just worry about improving the encyclopedia. PrincessofLlyr royal court 03:07, 12 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'd like to invite you to participate in the Guild of Copy Editors July 2010 Backlog Elimination Drive. In May, about 30 editors helped remove the {{copyedit}} tag from 1175 articles. The backlog is still over 7500 articles, and extends back to the beginning of 2008! We really need your help to reduce it. Copyediting just a couple articles can qualify you for a barnstar. Serious copyeditors can win prestigious and exclusive rewards. See the event page for more information. And thanks for your consideration. mono 00:54, 12 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you!

Speedy Deletion confrimation[edit]

Greetings,

I received your notification that my article has been flagged for speedy delivery due to A7. I totally understand and I am fine with that. Because the article is about a company that has not yet released its product, there are no web citations to verify it. If I simply let it be deleted by speedy delivery is there any danger of not being able to recreate the page once there are legitimate resources? — Preceding unsigned comment added by TeaspoonVFX (talkcontribs) 08:14, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If sources are found, then it can be recreated, but the article must conform to policies like WP:CORP and WP:V. Thank you. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 08:18, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Cleavage Hentai Page[edit]

I don't know if I've done anything wrong or not to warrant a "Deletion Nomination" but please let me know if there's anyway possible to preserve this page and remain on civil terms. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by OriginalOutcast (talkcontribs) 10:51, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well, first you need to verify the hentai's notability by finding reliable sources. At this point, unfortunately there doesn't seem to be reliable coverage anywhere, so its notability cannot be established. As such, at this rate, the article can't be saved. And yes, those messages on your talk page are on civil terms, they have been worded in such a way that it assumes good faith. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 10:55, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not about the truth. Even if something is real, if there aren't enough reliable sources covering it, it still can't have an article. The Mania page is promising since it's a reliable source, but you need to find more if you want to save it. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 12:13, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Is Shana ready for a GA yet?[edit]

I would say that the Light novels and books section needs to be read better, I see for example "A final volume of Shakugan no Shana will be released" thrown in without a lead in sentence. In the Manga section the wording of Viz is used alot (Viz Media licensed the manga for English distribution in North America. Viz released six volumes between April 17, 2007 and September 21, 2010. Viz cancelled the release of the final four volumes). After reading through the article I noticed alot of release dates and am unsure about that. IN general the article is well referenced and appears to have a good structure, I am still fairly new to the GA process so you may want a 2nd opinion but to me I dont see alot that needs to be done. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 17:00, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, you deleted my new page![edit]

Hey, you deleted my new page:

Didn't you check the external link I had on the page.

It was deleted in a matter or seconds, I don't think you checked it properly.

Oh, and by the way, where did my page source go? TuxedoPanther (talk) 13:12, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

First of all, I am not an administrator, so I could not really delete the article, I simply tagged it for PROD (but was then later speedily deleted). The reason? The article did not explain why it should have an article. To establish notability, significant, independent sources should be found, which the external link given isn't. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 13:22, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think you know anything about programming languages. I've been working on this project for more than ten years and it does a whole lot more than many of the others that are listed. The external web site has been up for over 9 years and has had many visitors. Do you really know what you are doing? Did you check the external site? How technical are you?

TuxedoPanther (talk) 14:31, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

As a person who once studied BASIC, Visual Basic, and C, I can safely tell you that Nova is not a particularly notable programming language, and the lack of reliable, independent coverage sort of confirms that. If you believe that the deletion was made in error, you can always take it to Wikipedia:Deletion review. Thank you. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 14:54, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks but no thanks, you can list all the other obscure programming langauges, but not mine. And continue with your trout slapping activities. You have successfully made Wikipedia an awful experience for myself. I will no longer give any kind donations to Wikipedia as a result of this awful treatment. The money will go to protecting animals instead (including fish). You have shown me how flawed Wikipedia is and how selfish and unfair people can be!

TuxedoPanther (talk) 16:22, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ever hear of WP:DAFT? Seems like that would be a nice addition. Incidentally, I fully support your argument; I'm actually willing to delete these things per IAR, as are many admins. Given how many do it already, it really should be a criterion. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 21:25, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I'm familiar with WP:DAFT (it's one of my favorite pages here). No, I'm not sure if it's DAFT worthy. And yes, I believe that under certain circumstances, obvious NFT articles and blatantly non-notable neologisms should be speedied. I suggest you re-propose that criterion. Read this, please - Wikipedia:No original research. So, there were original research, and I deleted it. First of all, there was no neutrality, and second - rules of wikipedia need to be be in progress. So maybe you will examine changes first, not undo blindely. I see in this part of Wiki people very like to do so. Sad, but true. P.S. Sorry for not perfect english. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.242.61.168 (talk) 12:35, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

At the article creator's talk page, just above your prod notification, a previous version of the article was previously prodded. While I'm uncertain whether that made it ineligible for prod, the creator has de'proded it. It seems to have been deleted uncontested the first time. Dru of Id (talk) 13:33, 14 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well if that's the case, I'll consider taking it to AfD, but since the current article does have sources, I'm not sure if I will. I'll check first if the sources in the article are reliable and/or actually cover the gazette. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 23:39, 14 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I saw some articles regarding other Architectural Organizations here in Wiki like AIA (American Institute of Architects) & UIA (International Union of Architects) these are all organizations such as the one that I also made. It's a bit unfair these articles exist and mine cannot. I hope you can consider my article to be published here in Wikipedia. Thanks![reply]

Re:Puella Magi[edit]

There's two parts to this answer.

First, (and I will admit, ideally) I want the anon to be the one that complains/questions/comments about this on the talk page. I'm AGF here that the person is willing to talk, and if so then I want the person to step up and make the first move here to fix the problem by talking with us, but judging from the talk page history thats not gonna happen unless the page is protected for "a long time" - granted, it doesn't need to be years or anything, but it does need to be long enough that the person(s) realize that they are the ones that can shorten it by contributing to the solution rather than editing carelessly and thus contributing to the problem.

Secondly, the time for protection can be adjusted by an admin based on the needs of the article and editor(s) who frequent the page. If the first case proves true and our problematic anon decides to work with us then we can drop the protection earlier than we otherwise would as a sign of good faith, to show that we can be work together toward a common goal, but if the anon refuses to change then it shows that we have both the manpower and technical resources to keep the article content out of his/her reach for a good long while, which would less ideally turn this into a tests of patients since we can keep the article content just out of his/her hands indefinitely if the need arises to do so, which in theory would eventually frustrated said editor.

In short, locking the page for a month offers our anon editor a chance to show his or her true colors, and is so doing, will define how exactly we will deal with the person when the protection expires. Its long term thinking, but I like having a plan B in case plan A fails. TomStar81 (Talk) 10:57, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Kind of jumped the gun there, Naruto. With no production info, minimal reception info, and still needing many key sources, it won't pass GA in it's present state. If you want to see it reviewed and failed, I guess that's fine, but I don't see it passing unless some extra work is put into it. Baccano! was the most recent light novel article to pass GA, and you can see what's missing from Shana from that one.-- 20:52, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about Juhachi. Well, the main reason I nominated it for GA is not actually for it to pass, but to see what improvements need to be done so that other editors will try to fix it up. I was hoping either you or TheFarix (who just returned this month) would try to improve the article. And since GA has quite a backlog, there's still plenty of time to work on it so that it actually will pass. Maybe you can give it a try? The article's quite promising already. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 21:25, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I thought that was the reason why you nominated it. But okay, maybe I'll get around to it in the next month or something.-- 21:34, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings!

As a Filipino Wikipedian, I hope you are aware of the passage of Republic Act No. 10175, also known as the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, which was signed into law by President Benigno Aquino III on September 12, 2012. Currently, there is a discussion on the Tambayan, the noticeboard for Philippines-related topics, about a proposed blackout of the English Wikipedia in the Philippines in order to protest the passage of RA 10175, similar to the blackout against SOPA and PIPA held earlier this year. I feel that your input on the subject will definitely help in the discussion.

Please feel free to participate in the discussion at Wikipedia talk:Tambayan Philippines#The Cybercrime Prevention Act, and I hope your input will help the Filipino Wikipedia community determine which is the best course of action against this law. Similarly, we hope to get as much input from as many Wikipedians as possible.

Thank you and maraming salamat po!

Kind regards,

Hi Narutolovehinata5, I'm working on WikiProject Merge's backlog of pages to be merged after AfD, and I've come across Polytechnic University of the Philippines College of Nutrition and Food Science. Since you were the first to suggest merging in the article's AfD, I wanted to ask you what material you think should be merged into Polytechnic University of the Philippines College of Nutrition and Food Science. It seems to me a merge would create undue coverage there. Since all but one of the other colleges have individual pages, we probably want to have only a sentence of coverage about this college (such as the current treatment of the College of Human Kinetics) and have the article simply redirect, without any actual merging. Otherwise, it would probably best to let the article stand. Let me know what you think. Thanks, BDD (talk) 23:55, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I would suggest precisely as you suggested, that the individual colleges would at most have a few sentences about them at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, with a redirect from the articles. It would lessen undue weight, and it could improve the article, provided that sources are included. Thanks. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 09:01, 17 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It just occurred to me that a new article, Colleges of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, could be linked as a {{main}} and have the other college pages boldly merged there. This way we still get some substantial coverage of the colleges without taking up too much space on the main article or giving undue coverage to individual colleges. Think that could work? --BDD (talk) 15:07, 17 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

ZoSia Karbowiak Biography[edit]

I am adding new links as I get them today so you would consider not deleting this biography. She is becoming very well known on the social networks and on Polish State Radio. Her latest song is number 2 on the chart there and could possibly be number 1 this week. I have a solid link to eurovision 2010, 2011 and have also added one for the National Song Festival of 2009. There was a polish wiki page done several years ago that I have linked and shared the photo as well....Just feel given her recent successful work with Robert Lamm of Chicago there is an importance for her to be seen on an American wiki page as well. There are many youtube videos showing her performances at Euro, but think it is better not to put those links in here. This is the first biography I have done here and am trying to learn and comply and help her. thank you so much for your help and constructive criticism, mary p

thanks for your continued help. Wondered if youtube footage of performances at eurovision and nationals could be used? i hesitated to post them because they were not from Eurovision itself but perhaps they could be helpful and have been on you tube since the performances. News footage other than you tube may be hard to obtain now but will try, thanks, mary — Preceding unsigned comment added by Paulhus15 (talkcontribs) 11:31, 28 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

We have worked very hard to obtain additional information, links and credibility. We are hoping to build this page over the next few years. I am hoping you will remove the mark for deletion and give this page a chance to exist. She is a brilliant song writer and lyricist and her career has only begun. thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by Paulhus15 (talkcontribs) 10:47, 31 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed speedy deletion[edit]

HI there, an article I have contribute for Daniel Weil you have marked for speedy deletion. I thought I put enough reliable sources and external links to verify his credibility as someone who should be in wikipedia. I'm really new to this so if you could perhaps offer a tip or two as to what I need to add so it doesn't get deleted? Thanks so much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pentw112rp (talkcontribs) 09:23, 27 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Small errors.[edit]

I realize the small change I made to the Hatsune Miku page on the Vocaloid wiki, claiming that her English voicebank was going to be released in 2013 was a bit foolish on my part now that I think of it, but honestly, my edit was based purely on logic than official sources. To be honest, such information that it is certain to be released within the remaining weeks of 2012 might be outdated (as I recall, the same context remained from as old as April). So unless the claim that the English voicebank is due to be released at least before the 1st of January, 2013 is regularly updated and remains the more likely scenario to happen, I see it hard to believe that the same information is still a reliable source up to this point. — Preceding unsigned comment added by OneGamer2EnvyThemAll (talkcontribs) 12:33, 22 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have tagged this article as CSD G3. Can you explain what is so vandalistic in the article? --Anbu121 (talk me) 11:19, 28 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It's a blatant hoax, which qualifies as G3. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 11:22, 28 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It says that a singer released an album which made so many number of downloads and fans. At the most, it qualifies as an G11 or A7. --Anbu121 (talk me) 11:32, 28 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I see. I'll replace it with G11 then. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 11:36, 28 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

December 2012[edit]

Hi Narutolovehinata5. Thank you for your work on patrolling new pages and tagging for speedy deletion. I'm just letting you know that I declined your deletion request for Macro microsoft word, a page that you tagged for speedy deletion, because the criterion you used or the reason you gave does not cover this kind of page. Please take a moment to look at the suggested tasks for patrollers and review the criteria for speedy deletion. Particularly, the section covering non-criteria. Such pages are best tagged with proposed deletion, proposed deletion for biographies of living persons, or sent to the appropriate deletion discussion. Just because an article is in another language does not mean that it has no content or context. Please read the instructions for foreign language articles at WP:NPP.
