Hello, I wanted to reach out to you in regards to your edits to Fall Experimental Football League. I couldn't help but notice that you seem to have a close connection to the subject. I was hoping I could request that you review Wikipedia's conflict of interest policy. In short, editors are strongly discouraged from editing articles whose subjects are closely related to the editor. If I can answer any questions, please don't hesitate to leave me a message on my talk page! --Non-Dropframe talk 00:23, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The Spring League[edit]

Information icon Hello, NYCsportslawyer. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page The Spring League, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Given your possible status (as per above) of having a connection to Fall Experimental Football League, you might have a connection to the Spring League. Plus stop reverting explained edits to the article. Your explaination was insufficient, thus rejected. Thus a discussion was started on the talk page. Spshu (talk) 18:40, 15 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
