March 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page No Lies has been reverted.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bblog(?:cu|fa|harbor|mybrain|post|savy|spot|townhall)?\.com\b (links: http://docunomics.blogspot.com/search?updated-min=2008-01-01t00%3a00%3a00-08%3a00&updated-max=2009-01-01t00%3a00%3a00-08%3a00&max-results=4). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 18:15, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Any connection to Carrier (documentary)[edit]

Information icon Hello, Mwblock. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Carrier (documentary), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:05, 12 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Mvblock. I also noticed you've been making edits to the article Mitchell Block and am wondering if you are somehow connected to him either personally or professionally. Please note that although COI editng is not something that is explicitly prohibited by Wikipedia, it is something which is highly discouraged. Even an apparent COI can create problems with other editors. If, by chance, you do have such a COI, then I suggest you take a look at WP:PSCOI to see what kinds of edits are generally considered acceptable for COI editors to make. If you have any questions about this feel free to ask them here and I will try to answer them. If you prefer the opinions of other editors then you you can ask for assistance at WP:THQ or WP:COIN if you wish.
Another thing you might need to consider is your choice of username. Generally, usernames which might lead other editors to (mistakenly) assume that they might be someone else (particularly someone well-known) are not allowed per WP:IMPERSONATE, except under certain conditions. If this also applies to you, then you might consider changing your username accordingly. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:20, 12 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

October 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Paul Bartel, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page.
