Jo Hussle is a versatile rap artist from the Philippines that can can rap in "tagalog" and "english" and is currently a member of the gangster rap group Death Threat, composed of MCs O.G. Beware, Genezide, Hi-Jakkk, O-Dogg, Gloc-9 (former member), Konflick, Phat-L, Dyablo, Sir Scratch, and Radical M.K. Prior to being a rapper, he was in a Rap Metal band called "Shroomz", where he's the lead vocalist and had been playing and organizing events around the metro for quite sometime. He started to get into the hip-hop scene, back in 2013 as a track reviewer for a local-international hip-hop movement, where he review and rate tracks that where sent to the group's website. He was also one of the judges in a freestyle rap battle called "PFP rap battle" that was held in B-side Makati in 2014, where Lazy Bone of the international hip-hop group "Bone Thugs n' Harmony" was one of the judges as well. Eager to back his work up, he started making his own tracks and had been performing in charity events. In 2015, he joined a rap contest called "Flip Rap Star 2015", that was organized by "Flip Music", a notable record label in the Philippines, where he was fortunate enough to secured a spot, on their top 8 and was able to work with them in a collaboration track, with one of the contestants as well, where he got his exposure in the hip-hop scene in the Philippines. Earlier this year, he joined another contest called "Get Drafted", a rap song contest that was organized by "BFE"(Butta-Flava Entertainment), "WBHH" (Women's Business Hip-hop) that was hosted by "Jug HoneyLuv" a member of the group "4 East Flava" and Bebe Riz. The contestants had the chance to perform their original track in front of the judges, who are the pillars of the Philippine hip-hop industry, composed of "O.G. Beware" of Death Threat, "Jhego" of Legit Misfitz and "Pikaso" of Turf Entertainment. Fortunately, he was drafted by O. G. Beware and was introduced as the newest member of the gangster rap group Death Threat. He is now currently working with the group, for their upcoming 8th Album, called "Death Threat 8" and is also, working on his own solo album.
