Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Issa Musse, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. The 3 cited references all refer to Somalia, rather than to Somaliland. Understood. I will be more careful in the future. Mushteeg (talk) 19:11, 15 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Mushteeg[edit]

There is a simple authentic way to resolve the dispute about the Somalia/Somaliland issue on these Wikipedia articles. This was your own quote: "All towns and districts of Somaliland should have its flag and push-in map, however, it should come with some sort of disclaimer that states that Somaliland is a de facto country that's internationally recognized as an autonomous region of Somalia." This will resolve the issue. This means to do not remove citations regarding 'Somalia' nor remove the Somalia flag.

The problem that exists is that almost all the edits completely attempts to remove this. That was the only reason why the dispute exists. If you wish to work on these articles which will clearly write the disclaimer, then no edits will be removed. If you wish to talk about how we can do this, let me know. Aqooni (talk) 21:45, 15 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

So, what you're trying to say is as long as the disclaimer is there, the rest remains as is?

We'll discuss more in detail in the Somalia/Somaliland thread. Mushteeg (talk) 21:49, 15 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

User:Mushteeg, absolutely. That is absolutely fine. That's all that is required. Just speak to User: Lion Pappa since he is currently banned temporarily. Explain to him what I've said because he kept on coming to the clan pages, adding certain information to the demographics without references etc. Just so long as you and him steer clear of the clan pages which include the demographics, ... I'll even help you with the Somaliland information that you require, I'm very reasonable. The red line for me was his vandalising the clan pages and demographics etc. Some administrators asked us to reconcile this issue, which is good. Just communicate that to your friend(s). The thing is if you agree, but later on some of those other editors keep on carrying out the same edits, it becomes problematic. Let me know your thoughts.
