Unreferenced commentary[edit]

While I don't want to put you off contributing to the project I think you should be aware that adding unreferenced details (particular commentary) is very likely to get removed. I'm not saying I'm prefect but I would suggest that you look at something like Porsche RS Spyder to give you an idea of how to write an article about racing cars. That relatively short article has 19 references. I noticed in the last day you have made some edits to Lola car articles and I will not remove this information just yet but I suggest that you add some references and make the language more encyclopaedic rather than car magazine in nature. I hope you take this advice in the spirit that it is intended. Bjmullan (talk) 12:20, 12 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you would like another example you recently changed "Highcroft faced competition to some degree" to "Highcroft faced stiff competition" when in fact this sentence should be changed to a neutral worded "Highcroft faced competition from other competitors in the class, but was able to beat the Cytosport Porsche by 20 points." Hope this helps? Also you need to provide reliable references for you input. Bjmullan (talk) 14:52, 14 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I see you are not taking my advice ... Acura ARX-02a. Please add references for you recent additions or they will be reverted. Bjmullan (talk) 06:12, 16 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Some references are just too much for me because there are many on other Wikipedia page, the ACO website and numerous other unofficial ones. I'm just typing the truth in and i won't say something like "Highcroft is the best team ever". I will try my best to find at least some sources but I will appreciate help. It's up to you really. You can revert the ARX-02 page and effectively delete an important chapter of ALMS history, preventing other people from knowing more about the car. Then they'll start to scramble around the internet and do a much more difficult way instead of having it all in one. Mulsanne253 (talk) 17:06, 16 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I understand the you are not adding factual errors but if someone in five years time comes and looks at the article how can they be sure that the details are correct? Reliable sources is a fundamental cornerstone of WP. Please read WP:RS and please add some references. Bjmullan (talk) 17:31, 16 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
