Streetcars of New Orleans[edit]

You put three "citation required" notes into this article. I found citations for the two about segregation on the streetcars. The third baffles me. It says, "Track and overhead wire of abandoned or converted lines were generally removed, although remnants of abandoned track remain in a few places around the city." I have never seen this stated in any book or other citable source. I have personally observed it as a fact. I know of no way to cite that. (I understand that personal observations cannot be cited.) I added it at the insistence of another wikipedia worker. It's such a small detail that no one that I know of has bothered to write it down. HGFriedman (talk) 19:28, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Interestingly enough, I have also personally observed remnants of abandoned track, such as on Erato between Camp and Annunciation. Maybe we should write an article or book about it and then cite ourselves... hahaha. MulberryMesquite (talk) 17:51, 10 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
LOL Unfortunately, I'm no longer on site in N.O. -- I live in Illlinois now. HGFriedman (talk) 14:47, 11 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
