Hostomol status[edit]

Hi, please see my comment here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Module_talk:Russo-Ukrainian_War_detailed_map#The_Status_of_Hostomel on why I listed Hostomol as disputed. If you disagree or have any comments on this please leave them on the module talk page. Colin dm (talk) 23:20, 24 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Alright, we'll wait to see a reliable news source report on the recapturing. Mtcat101 (talk) 23:25, 24 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You can take a lot of information from this sandbox (I give you permission for copying), because it contains data to help populating the Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts. However please take notes from File:Map_of_the_war_in_Donbass.svg. MarioJump83! 02:04, 25 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Will do soon, let me get the basic stuff on the other oblasts done first, thanks for the info. Mtcat101 (talk) 03:08, 25 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Well, unfortunately you're too late. It got 30/500 protection. Man, do I really have to go work on my own while I had some priorities in life? MarioJump83! 13:23, 25 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Adding Sources[edit]

Per the standards set here if you update a location the map you have to write what happened in the article that the location links to. You didn't do so with Konotop so just remember to add a source in the Konotop article. Colin dm (talk) 02:20, 25 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Here's a barnstar for you![edit]

The Ukraine Barnstar of National Merit
Thanks for fleshing out most of this map. Without you the map feels very empty. I wish that you could finish out the map, however, 30/500 protection got in the way before it can happen. MarioJump83! 06:45, 27 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thank you so much! I wish I was able to finish the map too, maybe the protection will go away soon and I'll be able to. Mtcat101 (talk) 02:08, 1 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

2020–2022 Ethiopian–Sudanese clashes[edit]

What do you think of the infobox on the 2020–2022 Ethiopian–Sudanese clashes article? It lists "Tigrayan refugees" as a belligerent to the war and the sources linked do not mention reports of Tigrayan forces reporting in that disputed area whatsoever. I've tried to remove it but another editor is suspicious of my edits.

I have replied to the topic. Mtcat101 (talk) 01:44, 6 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

About the Tigray War map...[edit]

I'm actually not super confident the war has ended just yet, since both Amhara and Eritrea are still reportedly killing civilians, despite everything. We might have to wait until that happens. XTheBedrockX (talk) 05:57, 9 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, exactly my thoughts. Mtcat101 (talk) 21:51, 9 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
