Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Skeem Saam, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Jessicapierce (talk) 14:44, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Jessicapierce. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Amanda Du-Pont, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Jessicapierce (talk) 14:44, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It's not other people's jobs to tell you exactly what you did wrong, it's your job to not do it in the first place. Wikipedia needs properly referenced information with correct grammar, and if your edits don't adhere to the guidelines then they are going to be removed. Wikipedia editors don't have time to get in touch with everyone who makes a bad edit to tell them exactly what they've done wrong. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.24.222.110 (talk) 16:42, 6 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome![edit]

Hello, Mpunyela, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to The Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

Not their job to guide you, it's your job to learn for yourself from the tutorials that you have been recommended; the tutorials will show you how to edit and how not to edit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.24.222.110 (talk) 16:43, 6 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The IP is correct but if you are unsure about something, feel free to ask at the Teahouse. S0091 (talk) 20:13, 6 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
