Vietnam WikiProject[edit]

Do you think that a separate WikiProject for Vietnam, like Wikipedia:WikiProject Southeast Asia, might be worthwhile? Chris 08:47, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have posted the proposal at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Council/Proposals#Vietnam_WikiProject

Fair use disputed for Image:A hopbao tt8 02.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:A hopbao tt8 02.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. effeietsanders 09:18, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Scouting project invite[edit]

Rlevse 02:48, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed the tags on this, but we need to add where the image came from. Where did you get the image? Right now I had to put "unknown".Rlevse 09:54, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I added the source, but now they claim it's "easily replaceable". Can you get Public Domain or GFDL license images for this? Then we won't have this problem. Someone might release them under the PD or GFDL license too if you ask. Just respond here. I have a watch set on your page.Rlevse 13:56, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

VN Scouting[edit]

The text seems broken on this, but could you take a look at http://www.geocities.com/Yosemite/3546/hdvn.html and see if there is any good information there? Thank you! Chris 08:01, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Boy and girl scouts in Vietnam.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Boy and girl scouts in Vietnam.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 13:07, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

broken interwiki on Galice, Oregon?[edit]

You just added an interwiki on Galice, Oregon. I tried it out, mostly because I wondered what language vi is. But it doesn't go to an article, but some sort of selection page. What is that page and is the linkage correct? —EncMstr (talk) 18:27, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. I didn't realize the article simply didn't exist. Probably best to create a stub or something first before linking it. Thanks. —EncMstr (talk) 18:33, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Vietnamese Scout Association LangBian Dalat.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Vietnamese Scout Association LangBian Dalat.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 16:26, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
