Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. A tag has been placed on Draft:Cirius Messaging requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://web.archive.org/web/20170615170258/https://cirius.com/prev/secure-messaging-patents/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 19:51, 11 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

May 2018[edit]

Hello, Mlspriest. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia. I'm sorry, but  SOC Telemed has been deleted as meeting WP:CSD#G11. "This applies to pages that are exclusively promotional and would need to be fundamentally rewritten to conform with Wikipedia:NOTFORPROMOTION." These must be rewritten from scratch from "reliable, third party sources unconnected to the subject." See WP:RS.

For more information, please see User:Dlohcierekim/g11d. Cheers, and happy editing. -- Dlohcierekim (talk) 18:04, 15 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

SOC Telemed's "technology": hardware and software?[edit]

You might want to clarify the tech used by SOC. I assume they created proprietary software, and they design systems using off-the-shelf hardware? You might want to mention the word software or system somewhere to clarify, encyclopedically, what they sell specifically in "providing solutions". You might even mention the number of patents the company holds. Wikipedia readers are more likely to be tech nerds than hospital admins, if you get what I'm saying.--Quisqualis (talk) 05:48, 23 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so very much Mlspriest (talk) 15:16, 23 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

January 2020[edit]

Information icon

Hello Mlspriest. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Mlspriest. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Mlspriest|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. John from Idegon (talk) 12:48, 24 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am so confused. What are the nature of my edits? How does one actually get an article published? This is a legitimate company worthy of an article. Its competitors are on Wikipedia with language that is much more promotional. I am not being compensated. Mlspriest (talk) 16:22, 24 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I must confess that I have been under the same impression as John from Idegon, above. If in fact you are simply a major fan of the company, then you are using promotional language without being aware of it. This is possible, as promotional language has infiltrated regular English, and nobody seems to be aware of it. However, such language doesn't belong here on Wikipedia, and I get rid of it.
By the way, I am still trying to find out what exactly this company sells. I guess it is some apps and optional access to their physicians. Could hardware be part of what they sell? I am going to look for telemedicine journals which cover this company.
As I am interested in cleaning up NPOV, what other telemedicine companies have WP articles?--Quisqualis (talk) 20:41, 24 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! They have telemedicine hardware and a platform that hospitals connect with patients remotely. It’s actually a really cool company that I became aware of during hurricane michael. They were in the news because they helped doctors perform remote medical care to people who couldn’t make it to a hospital. I’m from a rural area and telemedicine is important for areas where there aren’t a lot of doctors. Thank you. Other companies I’ve seen are: american well, teladoc health, mdlive and a bunch of others Mlspriest (talk) 21:41, 24 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You can probably clear up confusion I had re Hurricane Michael. Was the hospital functional, and the remote doctors could link up with hospital doctors to get treatment advice during the hurricane? --Quisqualis (talk) 21:59, 24 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Flooding was so bad that doctors couldn’t get to the hospital and there were a ton of patients with flood related injuries. This company enabled the hospital to provide patients emergency care remotely during the emergency. They created a system that a lot of hospitals use now for patients treatment during disasters. Cool eh? Mlspriest (talk) 00:45, 25 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Let me get this right. The hospital had emergency patients, but no doctors due to flooding. And the doctors could link from home (or was it some intermediate location?) via SOC Telemed's system ‎ to the hospital and remotely treat patients?--Quisqualis (talk) 04:20, 25 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again. They could link from their own homes to the hospital (if I remember correctly and I think I do) Thank you Mlspriest (talk) 19:14, 26 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: SOC Telemed (April 4)[edit]

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reasons left by DGG were: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. This submission is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: This is a press release, not an encyclopedic article.

There is in addition insufficient information to show notability -- al he references are mere menions or press releases

DGG ( talk ) 18:50, 4 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Tell me why this deserves a wikipedia article then? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Well

And this? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teladoc_Health

At least be consistent Mlspriest (talk) 19:02, 4 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I don’t understand what you’re trying to say here “al he references are mere menions or press releases” Mlspriest (talk) 19:03, 4 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
