March 2024

A page you created has been nominated for deletion as an attack page, according to section G10 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

Do not create pages that attack, threaten, or disparage their subject or any other entity. Attack pages and files are not tolerated by Wikipedia, and users who create or add such material may be blocked from editing. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 17:38, 5 March 2024 (UTC)

I haven't created any attack page, so all I can assume is that a page that I created at some point in the past was turned into an attack page. This templated notice doesn't indicate what page that was, though, so I don't really have anything to go on - not very helpful. If you can shed any light, I'd be interested in knowing. Notice

The article WJWS-LP has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No secondary sources, fails WP:ORGCRIT.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Speedy deletion nomination of KLGB-LP

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on KLGB-LP requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. REC US Template

Hey Mlaffs, you might remember this conversation from back in January. Unfortunately, the roll out of that template is DOA, so I wouldn't worry about it. Also, I've grown disillusioned in how things are going with WPRS in general, so I don't think I'd be able to put the work in to roll it out anyway.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know. Hope you are doing well. - NeutralhomerTalk • 14:35, 22 March 2024 (UTC)

Hey, thanks for the heads up. And yeah, I've tapered off a fair bit as well. Looks like there's a pretty strong deletionist stance these days with both radio and TV stations. I get it, in terms of how standards have changed over the years, but it would seem more logical to me to apply that to new articles going forward, rather than undoing work that's been done - seems like a waste. I just don't have the time or energy to try to save them, even if it were possible. Mlaffs (talk) 22:56, 22 March 2024 (UTC)
Yeah, same. I've got my couple of GAs and my FA that I keep an eye on, but other than that, I don't have the energy to do much else. It just seems to be the ultimate insult to those who worked so hard for so many years on these articles. I'll be honest, I give it a year and WPRS probably won't exist anymore. I'm not sure about TVS, I stopped editing over there 5+ years ago. - NeutralhomerTalk • 02:48, 23 March 2024 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Category:2021 disestablishments in Idaho indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. AusLondonder (talk) 17:50, 23 March 2024 (UTC)
