Hello Mikeblas, taking a look at this article, I was wondering if the logo has been changed. Would you know? Thank you for your time. Lotje (talk) 06:14, 1 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there! Sorry, not so sure what you're asking. It looks like the company logo at that article matches the logo that's on the company website ... though it is a different color. -- Mikeblas (talk) 14:47, 1 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, just wondering if the logo differs from country to country :-) Cheers Lotje (talk) 16:09, 1 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Slash[edit]

Wasn't me, sorry, - FlightTime (open channel) 22:16, 8 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I went back to last year I think I only saw two edits from all year, however, (A diff would help), also, I'm not in the habit of adding references to articles, I'm also very sure that I would never add a Snapchat reference to a BLP. - FlightTime (open channel) 23:23, 8 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Here's the change you made. Looks like you used ReFill, but didn't check the changes before submitting them. It ended up replacing a link to some specific Instagram page (not SnapChat) to the login page of Instagram itself. I can't dig into it further since I don't have an Instagram account. The title of the reference was "Login", and that placed the page in Category:CS1 errors: generic title because such links are bogus. Instagram posts probably aren't great references, but it seems better to have the link to the item rather than the site's login page. -- Mikeblas (talk) 02:17, 9 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, OK. thanks for the clarification, I be more careful in that regard. Cheers, - FlightTime (open channel)
No worries! Thanks for helping double double check check it out. ReFill is cool, but it doesn't always detect bad redirects or 404 pages. -- Mikeblas (talk) 22:39, 9 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you![edit]

Hi, I'm sorry for deleting the reference on the CGP Grey article. I stand by the edit itself, but removing the reference was a mistake I didn't notice. Thank you ReffPixels (talk) 14:15, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No worries! It's not clear if you meant to eradicate the reference from the article completely, or just that one invocation. Or ... something else? So thanks for checking on the change. -- Mikeblas (talk) 14:18, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I probably should have clarified when I made the edit. I only wanted to remove that one specific invocation of the reference, not deleting the entire reference from the article. Thanks! -- ReffPixels (talk) 14:23, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I've left some comments for this. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 03:08, 20 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

December 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to List of Google Easter eggs: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template index/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Idontknowwhattouseasmyusername300 (talk) 15:51, 5 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! Yes, I'm aware of them. In fact, I used them for a few years -- but I find they're largely ineffective against anonymous editors and don't bother with them anymore. -- Mikeblas (talk) 15:54, 5 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Never delete anything from Former Fleet from Air Moldova without any permission. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Random-cook (talkcontribs) 08:35, 22 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please see my response at Talk:Air Moldova#Unreferenced table. -- Mikeblas (talk) 17:30, 22 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Never delete anything from Air Moldova former fleet, because you're not allowed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Random-cook (talkcontribs) 10:01, 23 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a problem?[edit]

Is there a reason that you referenced me in your edit summary with this edit? When I in fact made no such edit? Do you have something you want to say to me? Jay eyem (talk) 20:05, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Oops! Sorry about that, looks like it was actually this edit by @UncleTupelo1: that added the undefined reference to the article. You can read about why I tag other editors when fixing referencing errors. Thanks for double-chekcing my fix! -- Mikeblas (talk) 16:07, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

November 2022[edit]

My appreciation for your adding the source edits at the new article I created for the 2022 Russian missile attacks on Ukraine. Regarding the other article, the FAC review seems to be back under way at Madison, and two editors from sysops have seemed to put the article back on track. I'm fully respecting the after-taste left by the other editor and your comments on it, though if you could return to do even a handful of edits, then it would still be nice to see you there. Ceranthor has left a bunch of interesting things to look at on the FAC page. Either way, I'm still leaving you with good wishes for the holiday weekend and appreciation for your edits at the 2022 Russian missile attacks article. ErnestKrause (talk) 17:38, 22 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm really glad you're still working on the article. I admire your stamina and perservereance -- there's simply no way I could make it through that. -- Mikeblas (talk) 04:38, 20 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
That was nice of you to update those citations again on Madison. Of course you realize that I'm going to again leave you with good wishes for the end of year holidays and for the New Year. ErnestKrause (talk) 15:44, 23 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Happy to help when I can. Best wishes to you, too! -- Mikeblas (talk) 15:51, 23 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Mike: I'm hoping that you can take one sysops question. User:Freoh is currently edit warring on James Madison by forcing section tags into the article. User:Dhtwiki has reverted him under BRD about 2-3 weeks ago, but User:Freoh just keeps forcing the template tag back into the article against BRD. When User:Jtbobwaysf reported it to Noticeboard, the report appeared to go through an instant close without any effect. Can you see anyway to get the template tags by Freoh out of the article which he is forcing into the article against BRD. Both Dhtwiki and Jtbobwaysf are experienced editors but neither of them can figure out how to remove the template tag which no one wants other that Freoh. Is there any way to get the template tag out of the article at this time? ErnestKrause (talk) 16:09, 28 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
